They were responsive after the insurance company called. they pumped out the basement and demo'ed the interior that was wet. They set up driers and dried the entire house to prevent mold. In the process of clearing the debris every loose piece of brass, copper and aluminum I had stored in my basement because of the value was removed and "discarded". I have no idea why because most of it did not get wet. Antique and vintage bottles I had on display that were irreplaceable also were removed. They did manage to leave behind saturated bags of tile cement and grout that I had to discard. I guess it was not as valuable as the copper. If I was forced to use them again I would secure all the personnel possession I wanted to retain before I let them into my house because they had so little regard for my possessions. That 's why I consider them "dirtbags"..

Maxon was terrific. They were one of the recommended restoration companies from my insurance company, USAA. I chose them .They arrived promptly to clean up after a major flood in my finished basement containing much "stuff". They were amazing in clearing out the contents and doing mold remediation and drying it out. They then completely redid the basement from demolition of walls to new walls, new carpeting, new paint, acoustic tile ceiling and a new hand railing. They were prompt every morning, were courteous, efficient, neat, cleaned up and did excellent work. Maxon hired some wonderful men to handle the job. I wouldn't hesitate one nanosecond to hire them again. I complimented to USAA I recommended them to a friend who is an insurance adjuster for several major companies. Need I say more?
