All the installs went really well.
One of the nice things that I liked about Bez's quote, was he itemized everything, so you know exactly what you're paying for.
It did lead to some billing creep, our original quote was $17,000 plus electrical $3,000. The rest of the creep was additional things we wound up asking for, or stuff we didn't itemize from the getgo. Again everything is itemized so you know what you're paying for, so expect a little more.
Had a few minor issues with electrical, but Bez is on top of it, and everything worked out eventually.
My wife would have preferred that things went a little faster, but 80% of the delays were related to the cabinets or design problems not anything to do with Lucky Three. The other 20% was just scheduling, which all installers would have.
out great, so I would highly recommend there services. Bez is extremely professional, very nice and refreshingly honest and a super hard worker.
Thank you
Large projects create many situations calling for changes to original plans and or upgrades. Throughout this journey, we always achieved our goals with total support from the contractor and quot;Bez Tsayand quot; who was always cordial and amenable to helping us navigate the project. We would never hesitate to use Bez [Lucky Three LLC] again and would recommend them without hesitation.
Having a good experience with a contractor during large projects calls for two vital elements to be present.
#1 - The contractor needs to communicate with the client as to changes and work rescheduling.
#2 - The client needs to understand that contractors move their crews in and out of several projects as certain sub-contractors provide services and await inspections, etc.
If these two elements are recognized, the journey should be free of
hardships and ill feelings. We lucked out finding Bez [Lucky Three LLC]. Everything was great. He really took the time to listen to ALL my concerns. He's very down to earth and his respectful, attentive attitude made me very comfortable and I was able to stay focused to effectively communicate my expectations.
Mr. Bezrok and his team arrived promptly and on time for my cabinet installation appointment. They looked well rested, energetic and after saying good morning went right to work.
I've learned a few things about construction, electrical work etc due to the fact that I am recovering from the hurricane Sandy aftermath and just the kitchen remodeling took months of research and many hours. During the last year and a half I've met my share of inexperienced
Workers under the wing of fast talking contractors that don't take pride in their work and are just in it for the money, while using cheap materials and cheap labor. When you approach them with any concern They get nervous at the sign of an informed consumer and when they feel challenged they get angry and defensive.
Although I'm at the very end of my renovations, along the way it got easier to weed out the and quot;badand quot; and in the process I've found a wonderful contractor, a wonderful electrician and now a wonderful cabinet installer, Mr Bezrok of Lucky Three.
Getting back to my appointment, during their visit today, while Mr Bezrok finished confirming the many things we had talked about on the phone, his men went right to preparing the area. Right away I observed that these workers were different, there was team work, and they were on the same page. By the time Mr Bezrok left I felt totally at ease. These guys knew what they were doing,
All the post trauma I've been left with from prior experiences means that as much as I try to stay out of the way, I do find myself at least a few times cautiously interrupting them to ask certain questions that Helps me know things are right. They never minded and eagerly answered any question I asked.
When they were done it was surreal to me. I not only had a kitchen but everything I worried about, the areas that they could've taken short cuts on, they didn't. The door handles were placed perfectly centered just as I wanted. The fillers were neat and blended perfectly with the flow of the cabinets. They were perfectly level, not an easy feat since in an effort to maximize on space in a low ceiling I asked that the cabinets be placed as close to the ceiling as possible. Despite the challenge of the uneven ceiling and the recessed lighting needed clearance for the doors to open properly, they measured and came up with a plan that worked to give me what I wanted while making sure they came out perfectly.
I was so comfortable that I went out to brunch and had a mojito, came back to tally relaxed to find out that the bottom cabinets were all done including the dishwasher panel! It matched the other cabinets perfectly. Originally the dishwasher manufacturer specified that the panel needed to be made smaller lengthwise than the rest of the cabinets. I didn't want it to look that way. So on prior conversations with Bez I told him that I was going to brave ordering the panel the same size as the cabinet doors. I told him that I had tinkered an idea and using a piece of cardboard cut to size and taped to the dishwasher it confirmed to me that it would work. Opening and closing the door to test it make sure it wouldn't hit anything. I told him the only thing is that they would have to make sure to place the panel slightly passed the edge of the top of the dishwasher door a couple of inches and keep the feet on the dishwasher low. I was ready to help them accomplish that before they gave up as had been my experience with other people when they don't follow my idea and not yet envision it. I knew for sure that they had to place that door just right while keeping the height of the dishwasher for it to work. The fact that I came back and it was done without me not having to stress over it was a new for me. I was so happy everything was coming out so right.
I always knew that my idea would leave a gap and although no one would see it I suggested that the gap that was there at the top of the dishwasher when it was open, be covered by a filler and in less than a few minutes they cut a perfect sized piece that I will later screw from the inside of the neighboring cabinets.
The dishwasher also called for an interruption of the toe kick at the base of the cabinets, meaning the dishwasher came with its own black one. I asked for a piece of toe kick (same wood as my cabinets) that I could Velcro on and they weren't happy with that amateur solution and came up with the perfect way I can have a continuous toe kick that can be easily removed from the front of the cabinets if ever I needed to service the dishwasher.
The inside of the cabinets are neatly fastened to the wall by these elegant screws. It's like buying a piece of clothing and getting quality buttons, you can tell it's put together well and every detail counts. They promised me that a grown man could hang from the cabinets and assured me they wouldn't come off.
Lastly, I had a soffit to worry about at the top of the over the microwave cabinet and as I requested they cut a hole on the ceiling of the cabinet so that I can get to the soffit door. It is a neatly cut square piece and I didn't even have to ask, they told me what to buy and make the edges of the cutout look finished. Remember no one will ever see in there it's high up. But that just goes to show how detail oriented, just like me, Mr Bezrok's team is.
Mr Bezrok, was actually addressed as Bez by me because that's how comfortable you feel around him but while writing this review it only seemed appropriate that I address him with the same respect and care that he handled my kitchen project. Many thank yous to you and your team. I will be recommending you to everyone I know for years to come.
I'm grateful to you and your team for making this project one of the few pleasant experiences I've had in a long year of renovations.
Thank you again Bez and the team from Lucky Three LLC!!!
Bezrock, the owner of Luck 3, was highly recommended by Bill Hancock of Direct Kitchen Depot. After interviewing many prospective installers, I decided to use Bezrock because he does primarily kitchen renovations. Judging from the quality of the work, I'm glad I used him. Bezrock and 2 of his co-workers completed the work in 2 days. These guys really know what they are doing, from leveling the counters to doing the trim work. They paid attention to all the details necessary for a perfect job. I also, want to thank them for their timely response to the job as his workers started the job immediately after delivery of the kitchen cabinets. These guys are a cut above the rest. I would definitely used them again .
.Lucky Three went over and beyond to shoot for perfection and to make sure we were happy with everything…And happy we are!
They earned every dime we spent.
Bezrok has a great set of guys working for Lucky Three LLC. They all have a dedicated attitude to their jobs, provide different skill sets to the project and are very professional but friendly to associate with. Bezrok himself handled the management of the project while providing his own labor labor to the tasks he is expert in (flooring, cabinetry, carpentry, etc). He also sub-contracts for the plumbing and electrical needs of the project with his associates in those fields so that everything needed is taken care of for you through one person.
He has an office location in the Direct Depot building and has easy access to the specifics of your cabinetry, appliances and granite counter top details if you happen to have ordered all your materials at that location which makes it extremely convenient if and when you need the vendors to address any common unexpected problems that may arise.
Be sure to ask him about the discounts he can pass on to you at supply houses. Wayne Tile is one example that gives a customer discount if you are using Lucky Three..
I will certainly use Bez again if I have another renovation come up on our bathroom, and will definitely recommend him to other people who might need this type of work done.
All in all, the kitchen renovation turned out great.
Two weeks later, Lucky Three came back to complete the install after countertop templating and installing. They finished facing the floor cabinets, installed backsplash, range hood and managed the electrical and plumbing providers. This part of the project was much more detailed and the level of precision Lucky Three demonstrated was exemplary, especially around the tight areas in the backsplash and pitch of our floor. The final kitchen looked beautiful with the floor cabinet facing flawless.
We highly recommend Lucky Three for anynkitchen remodeling work. They are very professional team that consults with you on decision, keeps you informed on the progress, and respectful that they are working in your home.
