Hubinger Landscaping came out and took our front and backyard and made them brand-new again! Our backyard was a disaster, but not now it looks so clean, fresh and modern. I love how it turned out! Joe Hubinger worked with our budget and listened to everything that we wanted and made it happen and more. He had some design ideas that we didn't even think of and because of those ideas it really added to our front and backyard so much.

In planning our landscaping we found Jim Shaw delightful to work with, giving us guidance but freedom as well.  The men doing the work were warm, friendly, skillful, and conscientious.
My only--but important--complaint involves the TOTAL non-responsiveness on the company's part if any problems develop.  The new plants were guaranteed (in writing) for two years.  Of the fourteen new plants, three of the larger shrubs did not thrive.  One looks absolutely terrible, and two others just don't look healthy.  I called the office within the guaranteed time period...MANY, MANY times...to find out what could be done.  There was NO RESPONSE to my MANY, MANY calls.
A couple of months ago, Mr. Hubinger was supervising work at my neighbor's house.  I asked him to come over, which he soon did.  I explained the situation.  He took some pictures of the shrubs and said he would get back to me.  He didn't.  I even went so far as to call the office again many times, leaving messages to remind him of his promise to get back to me.  And of course, there was no response.
We would never use this company again, nor could we recommend them.

We had the pool and patio installed in May/June of 2012 - by the end of that summer we noticed the pitch of the yard was bad because water pooled and flooded in one area and caused damage to the new grass that they had planted.  We also had issues with the landscape lighting they installed - it was poorly done.  We called the office many times and the owner, Joe Hubinger's wife, Jen, promised he would come out to fix the problem but he never did.  Finally, we called our pool installer who had recommended him to us to contact him and he reached out to us in March 2013.  We wanted him to fix the pitch so we would not have a flood in our yard but he insisted we had to pay to have drains installed to correct the problem.  This meant he had to lift the pavers he installed to run the drain pipes across the yard.  Since he was lifting pavers, we decided to modify the patio by making it a bit larger.  The price he charged for the patio was fair but he was very nasty about it.  He had a bad disposition.  We made a very large investment with this company so we expected it to be done correctly. Upon completion of the job, he became irate.  This patio was permanent for us so we wanted everything exact and ANY change that we wanted was well paid for.  As soon as they finished the job, within days, we noticed water was pooling in the middle of the patio - it looked like a pond every time it rained.  They also cut the lines for our landscape lighting during the installation of the drain pipes.  We called them immediately after the work was done a countless amount of times to come fix the problems and they gave us the run around up until July telling us they would come out and take care of it but NEVER showed up.  We called, left messages, and texted them up until this winter and still no response.  They gave us a verbal warranty as well as a written one behind their contract but did not honor it.  We would not recommend this company to anyone and people should beware of them.

We booked the project in November for a Spring start/complete date depending on how our pool installation progressed. Everything went smoothly in an orchestrated sequence, & the Hubinger crew did everything they said they would, and more. They maximized materials, perfectly rearranged the "old" patio to seque into the new, & we just couldn't be happier w/the outcome, which owner Joe came to see often.  Great crew!
