George Chimney "cleaned" our chimney four summers in a row. Then we had a chimney fire on a cold night in early spring. We use only seasoned wood that was many months old when we got it in August 2020. The fire chief said it looked like the top of the flue had not been cleaned. See pictures below taken after the chimney fire, when lots of the creosote buildup at the top had been burned off. Here is the inspection report: • "After further inspection inside of chimney 8x13 flues some are cracked, completely toasted from the fire. • The damper is no longer working due to fire (the cap and damper were destroyed). • This chimney had so much creosote seems like previous company never cleaned the flues properly. • Fireplace now needs 10x6 stainless steel liner kit with new stainless steel damper kit. • Clean out all debris as much as possible before installment of liner. • The fireplace cover screen is also damaged from the fire dept putting the fire out. $: 7,850.00 Total Cost of Work

The team was very courteous and responsive - their office manager was very organized in scheduling appointments. Once services were completed, they took the time to show me how to open/close the damper and other pointers. While this may seem inherent to some, as a first time home owner this was much appreciated.

They refused to do it. Colin said he had a bad feeling about it. They called George and left. Now I get to put my stove pipes back.

Fine. Was running late and had to reschedule.

They came on time, cleaned the chimney and fireplace with no fuss or mess and the price was right. What more can someone ask for?

We were able to schedule the team to come out within a few days of calling. They showed up and got to work right away. Since we were using them to get information on a home purchase we asked lots of questions and the team patiently answered everything we asked. They spent their time running through everything they saw and made sure we understood what they were telling us. While the inspection results themselves uncovered something we were not expecting that is a result of the home not the work effort of George's team. We will use them again if the need arises.

George and his crew showed up on time and cleaned both our fireplaces, replacing an old broken damper handle at no charge. He not only knows his stuff, but it's obvious he loves his profession, giving me all kinds of little hints about fireplace usage and maintenance. In short, he's one of those honest, reliable and competent resources you happily place in your address book and are glad you've found.

They were very prompt, neat, and courteous. Only needed fireplace chimney cleaned and did excellent job. Let me know that furnace chimney wasn't in need of cleaning... and I would have never known and paid for it it they hadn't told me. Installed two caps and filled in cracks on chimneys. Work looks great and took pictures to show me before and after. Nice touch! I've heard a lot of bad stories re: the chimney industry, but was very impressed!!!

George's crew called when they were on their way and showed up on time. They introduced themselves and presented their business card and went to work. They finished quickly and left the work area clean.

He was very good.  He does all kinds of chimney repairs. I was very happy with him. Everything about him is very good.  He knew his work. He was professional, extremely clean and a nice man. He worked alone so you knew you were getting the owner and only the owner doing the work. I got what I expected.
