See GAF lawsuits. Complete nightmare! GAF warranty would be a joke, but it's not funny. I have sent them samples twice for their warranty. Have leaks all over with no signs of damage. They claim damage every time. I have had different roofers try to repair leaks that could not be located or repaired. They have told me that they were defective, GAF has lost lawsuits for the very shingles that were installed on my roof Tons of granules filled the gutters, and they continue to tell me that they are not defective. I've been waiting to replace my entire roof after just a few years hoping that they would come through. Now I have to replace the entire roof and repair ceilings that were damaged as well. Iguess the only way to get them to honor their warranty is to sue them.

Our roof leaks at same exact place as before, even after using their so called "Master Elite Contractor" suggested by their web site, to diagnose and fix roof. I did a costly replacement, but next winter roof leaks again at same exact spot. On top of all this cost, they also sold me "GAF Golden Pledge Warranty", which is basically has little value and believe that has so many convenient loop holes, allowing them to bypass any commitments. I found so many other complaints about warranty afterwards, will not ever use their products or their contractors again.

Once I called them and told them what was going on, they contacted the company who did my roof. They got a guy out here initially and he put on a temporary fix on, then I didn't hear from them again. I called GAF again and a guy came right out. He took a look at it and got up on my roof. He put a hose up there and showed me that it was pouring in. He put some temporary rubber around it. I think they should have quicker service. My brand new cabinets were ruined and the drywall. It was right after the holidays and they had a guy out here for three days fixing up all the screw-ups. The GAF group was outstanding. I would recommend them and recommend their guarantee. The roof is a certain item that has to be put on by a certain method. It is not a regular roof. I would give them A's on everything and I would use them again.
