"Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed], We are sorry you feel this way about our service. We don't have a coupon on angies list. We do advertise a free service charge WITH a repair which was given to you in the final price after the repair. We also NEVER buy non factory authorized online generic parts as they are often defective. Our company ONLY buys factory authorized brand name parts from authorized dealers in the USA which unfortunately do cost more to buy but they are the correct part to use. As an appliance service company in business for 50 years, our labor prices are pro rated and competive with other service companies in our area."
"There was a different problem with the refrigerator."
"We don't sell ovens. I don't know why on earth she would say that. Parts ARE expensive and thats a fact. This person gave us an "F" for a price that clearly was not our fault."
The appointment was scheduled and the repair representative called prior to his arrival to ensure someone will be present at the house. The repair was completed and he explained the nuances of a refrigerator. I haven't had a problem since.
Since this was the first time I called in for a large appliance repair service, I was a bit thrown off on the price. It is why I graded a N/A for the price.
He gave a flat estimate not breaking it down by parts and labor at $420. He had the specific panel in his vehicle which apparently was a common problem. The part took about 10 minutes to install.
His claim to fame was that he also installed a small surge protector in the outlet (A good idea but certainly not a high cost).
When I contacted the owner to discuss the actual amount of the charge after I determined what the actual part should have cost (about $150) he was adamant (and rather nasty) about how wonderful his outfit was that he knew how to repair the unit, that he had the parts (which was good, but also important to him to be able to get the job completed on the spot), that training was expensive, and that he also put in the surge protector as a bonus.
The presence of a coupon for the service call that was advertised on Angies List was of no use.
The company that showed up was very pleasant and they did show up on time.
I don?t see any scope where they could have been improved. They diagnosed the problem. I would use them in the future.
