Overall I believe this was a good experience. It did take much longer than anticipated given we were purchasing a new home and accepting the problems with the septic system.
We began dealing with the engineering firm (SJE) in June who needed to create the plans and obtain county approvals (not easy). It was then passed to the installation company, Sarappa Septics. We needed the leach field replaced in order to receive a Certificate of Occupancy from the municipality to move in and needed Sarappa to get the installation done quickly. We signed a contract in late July and all the work was completed in about 4 weeks. Given the scope of work and requirements for engineering and county health department reviews I believe this was a reasonable completion timeframe.
I would definitely use SJE and Sarappa again.
