Favor Contracting

I had multiple problems with Favor Contracting. They were contracted to do several repairs with the focus being on the replacement of damaged cement board siding. A major mistake was made on ordering of the replacement siding. Somehow he made a calculation error and ordered almost triple the amount of materials needed. We worked out an agreement on reimbursement which he did not fully honor. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I am still owed money more than 1 year later. The quality of the work performed by the owner wasn't the problem. It was the quality of the work done by his worker that was primarily here. When I told him of my dissatisfaction, it was confrontational and I was told that I was being too picky. The siding repair was what he really felt short on because he didn't do most of this work himself. Follow up repairs by other contractors were necessary to correct several issues.

Ken did a great job. He even moved all the furniture each day as needed. Ken came up with a cost effective solution for my stairs. The upstairs was immaculate when he was done. The floors are beautiful.

It always goes well with Ken. He is honest, punctual, takes great pride in his work and is very fair in pricing. He does his work and provides advise as if it was on his own home. Ken would rather have a happy customer than earn extra $. He is a perfectionist - for example when installing my new, and very unusual mantel, he felt that it wasn't up to par. In my eyes, it was fine, but not in his eyes. He did some research and came backed and fixed it so that he was happy with the quality of his work. He knows that any work done is associated with his name and therefore it has to be top notch. Ken gets all his business by word of mouth. I met Ken after he finished two basements of neighbors/friends.
