Chris is very respectful with a friendly personality and knowledgeable as he is no stranger to horticulture, which is what impressed me and also pains me to write this review, but he is horrible with follow- up, follow-through and execution. During our first and only consultation, I had vetted a few other landscapers and on the spot informed Chris that I wanted to hire him for the project. He agreed to have the written quote - which we had already discussed sent to me within two days of the consultation. 4 days had come and pass without hearing from Chris. I called Chris about the delayed quote and he stated he was dealing with some health challenges. I know that life happens and was sensitive to that as he made two additional promises. 1. He would have the quote to me within two more days. 2. I asked Chris to send me some of his digital images of 8 inch decorative border stone for inspiration as I explained to him that I was visiting a stone supplier the next day and wanted to have his images on hand for the visit. Chris assured me that he would have the images from his personal digital collection sent to me before my visit to the stone supplier. 3. Chris also promised to get pricing on an Adromenda that he recommended for one of my flowerbeds. To date I still have not received the images, I have not received the written quote, nor did I receive pricing on the plant just upkept empty promises, which speaks volumes about Chris's unprofessionalism. Thank goodness I was able to locate a new landscaper who truly are professional and very knowledgeable and experienced as well. The new landscaper provided me with a quote within two days and has already been in close contact with me three times and were able to locate a very difficult decorative stone it has taken me months to find. I am finding that some contractors will verbally commit to a smaller project and when a larger project comes along, they suddenly lose interest in the smaller project no longer standing by their word and lack the courage to tell the homeowner that they no longer wish to do the job because they are financially motivated to take on a larger project that has come up after the fact. I don't know if this was the case with this contractor, but either way it's a poor reflection on Elite Landscaping Services LLC and I would not recommend this business to others!
