ROJAS' CONSTRUCTION

THIS IS A COPY OF THE LETTER I SENT TO ROJAS CONSTRUCTION ON JAN 31, 2011: Mr. Olman Rojas Rojas' Construction 14 Mountain View Ln Warren, NJ 07059 Dear Olman, As you know, your company has been providing snow removal services for me for over 10 years. And, you have been providing landscaping and snow removal services for my mother, Rose Sun, for over 20 years. Between our two houses, and additional customers that have been our referrals to you, we have been a significant source of business for you and your crew over the years. This is why your behavior last week was especially shocking and disappointing to me. In all the years that you have been with me, I have never asked you in advance for a specific time by when I needed you to make sure that my driveway was clear in order for me to leave the house. I gave you one day?s advance notice of my need to have the driveway cleared by 8:30am the next day. When I called you the next day at 8am, you insisted that you were at the house in the middle of the night. However the driveway clearly had at least 15 inches of snow accumulation (which I photographed and sent you). So, you failed to meet your commitment to me. And, instead of apologizing and sending your team over right away, your response was, ?The earliest I can be there is in two hours or you can go find someone else.? Then, you hung up the phone on me twice. (The first time, I gave you the benefit of the doubt and called you back, suggesting that it was unintentional. The second time was unmistakable.) So, me and my daughter grabbed our shovels and did the best we could do to clear a path for my car to get out. After I returned home at the end of the day, I was disappointed to see that your team never came. I guess you decided that you no longer value my business.
