+ 3 moreThe whole process took about 5 or 6 months. 80% went well. 20% needed to be repeated because something wasn't done right. Overall, he was very responsible and tried to fix things as much as possible.
Description of Work: They remodeled my bathroom and kitchen, including the ceiling. There was a lot of work involved.

+ 10 moreAre there adjectives that can exceed fabulous---excellent. These are the best descriptions I am able to use to convey my experience with Allan Pincus. When I met him initially, I knew he had it together and knew his stuff. He is a graduate engineer of one of America's finest engineering schools, he is able to interpolate ideas, design and execute construction and do it within budget. He designed and satisfied my expectations for my nephew's family room. If I did it myself, I could not have done finer and I'm successful because I deliver the best. Allan's people broke ground, set and poured a foundation, did all the rough in framing carpentry, sheet rocked, installed windows and doors, installed a full powder room, did plumbing, set toilet and sink, did the interior design with paint colors, tile selection. laid ceramic tile, did all electric and plumbing work, designed lighting with theatrical dimming. The only thing he left out were movie stars at my nephew's opening celebration.
Description of Work: I am a successful high end custom builder. When my nephew needed to put an addition on his home to accommodate his growing family, he naturally called his favorite uncle. I acted as an agent on the remodel & paid for the addition for my nephew. Due to career relocations, my nephew lives in Bridgewater, NJ approximately 90 miles north of Phil., a bedroom community of NYC. I assisted my nephew in designing his 600 square foot family room addition. Because of travel restrictions & related costs of my crews traveling, I was forced to find a local builder to bring my nephew's dream to fruition instead of building it myself. Naturally, I could not compromise my exacting standards which brought me success in the construction industry. I had to find a builder as good as or better than myself, to deliver what my nephew needed. I searched the local market, with my exacting & demanding standards until I found the best. When I met Allan Pincus, CEO of Around Your House, I knew I found a winner.
