"Mr. MXXXXX, We supplied you with the exact square footage of sod that you were quoted for your front yard and small areas in the rear. Your sod was installed in April and you did not pay your balance owed until June. When you called and stated that the new sod was turning brown, Jeffery was sent out to inspect and told you how to adjust your watering schedule as the new sod was not getting enough water. When you then called again almost two months later, Alan was sent out to look at your sod. Alan found grass clippings on the new sod, which he was able to pick up in clumps. You stated that your homeowners association was cutting your grass. We can not be held liable for a third party caring for the turf and the affects that come with that."

"Robert, I have reviewed your account records and I show that you called approximately a week after the work was completed and advised that you still had leaves under your bushes. We immediately sent the operations manager out to inspect and had our crew who was working next door come over and remove the leaves under the bushes that same day. Unfortunately, with winds and storms that we have been having it is common for additional leaves to appear after a cleanup."
