Like clockwork - start to finish? 2 hours 25 minutes. Tree cut, chipped, cleanup ...was actually sitting in the garage next to where tree was and didn't even hear it come down. Ron and his crew have a great work ethic and a pleasure to deal with. Very fair on the pricing and I would consider them totally professional. Plus, with Ron always on site, it gives the customer an additional feeling of support.

Crew showed up with owner, a climbing person, and two ground crew. Equipment included a crane, a chipper, and a dump truck (for the chips) plus chain saws and other smaller equipment. Everything was done in about 3.5 hours including the cleanup - all the fallen limbs were removed, the lawn was swept of debris, and a blower was used to clear the chips and dust off of the driveway. It was a steamy hot day - not the day to be working outside so the speed with which the project was executed was notable. Contractor had binder with insurance info. and called agent to request certificate be sent to me (which I wanted); agent was to email certificate but I never rec'd it (this was day of work - since work was scheduled over the weekend). Fortunately insurance was not required. Very professional. I have used other tree services and I cannot say the same about them. Also I called several times before the work was scheduled with questions and always got a prompt reply. And when I called for estimate on the weekend the owner showed up the next weekday. The follow-through on the estimate and subsequent phone calls made me choose High Point. Cost was competitive with other firms.

On Sunday, April 3, 2016, during an incredible windstorm, my neighbor contacted me about a large tree on my property that threatened to fall on his house. He said he was spooked because it had developed a crack all around it about 8 feet from the base (and he said he could hear it creak although I couldn?t.) He wanted something done about it immediately and I told him there was little chance of me reaching a tree service on Sunday at 5:45PM. But I kept trying until Ron at High Point Tree Service answered the phone. Ron said he?d be there right away and 20 minutes later he showed up! He inspected the tree and said he could get his crew together that night if necessary (for an extra charge of course.) However, the neighbor was reassured enough to wait until the morning. Ron and his crew were there at 8:00AM and had it all chopped down by 10:30AM in the cold rain. The lawn was clean and the price was more than fair.

He returned my call within a few days and came to give me the estimate promptly. They called and told me the day they would be here. The large tree was removed with their crane expertly. A very large wisteria was tangled in an arbor and was removed without damage to the structure. Their clean up was so thorough I couldn't even tell they were here. I would definitely use them again.

High point was excellent ! they worked for 4 hours and you would never know they were there. The Owner was doing all the cutting, and was very professional. Have used them before and will use them again if needed.

The owner was great when he came out for the estimate and he followed up with us immediately. The guys who did the work didn't knock on the door, they didn't communicate, they didn't even tell me they were done and leaving and I didn't get a bill for a few weeks, so that was a little weird.

"I instruct my worker's to do the work on the written work order and leave the communication with the customer to myself. Unless the customer has questions or concerns. I did call her 3 times to ask if she was paying with check, cash or credit card. I left 3 messages and none of my calls we're returned. I did send a bill which was then paid approximately 2 weeks later. I was also handling funeral arrangements and personal affairs for a family member at the same time. Billing someone two or three weeks after completing the job in my opinion is not weird. Especially under these circumstances. Ron Edwards/owner"

"Disappointed with a "C" on the price. I only made a couple dollars sending out a Truck & Chipper and three men to do a job for $100.00. after fuel, insurance, advertising, truck payments, cost of all our saw's and hand tools, daily repairs, shop time sharpening saw's preparing for a job, etc., etc.. I don't think we made $25.00"

They used buckets and loaders with a crane.Two of the trees were hanging over the house, and they were able to haul them away safely with no additional damage to the home. They were tricky trees to remove as they were located very close to the home. They chipped and hauled away all the debris. They worked on me with the price by splitting the wood with me. They cut everything up into nice rounds and left them in piles. The yard is in good shape. They were prompt, came in early on the work, and were professional. There was no mess to clean when he was done.

We were satisfied with their services. We have used High Point in the past to service our trees as they were one of the few companies in our area that had a high enough bucket to reach our nearly 100 ft trees. They also have someone that will climb the tree with a harness if needed.

Still new to our area and being a small town I didn't know who to call. I seen Ron's Co. listed and seen that he was local so I called. I'm so glad I did! He was very prompt in getting here to give me an estimate and also gave me some great advice that we ended up using. The crew showed up early and ready and worked very professionally! The fact that Ron has his operators license helps with his knowledge of the use of his crane trucks! He knows what he's doing and gets it done promptly! His price was very reasonable, couldn't be happier! They were great and I plan on using his Co. again! Highly recommended! A+ in our book!
