* Our company has just received the Angie's List Super Service Award for 2019 now six years in a row. We offer over 40 years of field experience and have been certified as authorized paver installers. Our crew consists of 3 to 7 men depending on the job size and labor required. On larger projects we provide additional man power to optimize performance and completing the project in a timely fashion. We accept Visa, Mastercard or checks. Through the Winter months we offer 10 percent off on any hardscaping services such a retaining walls, patios, walks and drainage.

This is follow up to my previous post that I wish I could remove. I wish I could post my pictures here. He was hired to do my driveway with an apron and level my property to avoid water build up. I contacted him 10 months after the job was completed to let him know that all the pavers in my apron were coming up and weeds were coming through. He never called back, I sent him an email and he also never got back to me. I had to contact another contracter only to tell me that the job was not done properly. In addition, my property is still like a little lake. After more than thousands+ dollars, I would use someone else. He is not responsible. DO NOT USE

"[Member Information Removed] only issue we discussed was pavers [Member Information Removed] rest of driveway was asphalt along with a wall and steps which aren't effected by water. We were happy to go back and reset [Member Information Removed] pavers and did so twice. With a high water table [Member Information Removed] paver sub-base remains wet which gets soft, cars then go over apron causing pavers to shift. [Member Information Removed] problem is high water table and drain which is a common drain shared by Removed] neighbor. remedy would be to install a concrete apron. I imagine Hurricane Ida was a bad situation for you and surrounding homes."

Robert was timely with communication, professional throughout the engagement, and did excellent work in terms of removing the three layers of driveways put down prior to his work on our property, and the driveway he installed thereafter. It has held up very well nearly a year in, along with the Belgian blocks lining the end of the driveway. We'd definitely utilize him for future projects.

We had a very good experience with Rob and his workers. Rob and his team of workers laid asphalt on our 2200 square foot driveway, added Belgian block on a portion of the border and laid some plants along another border of the driveway. Rob and his crew were completely professional. This crew was always prompt and worked efficiently and did a great job. Rob and other senior foreman were always on site. They explained everything they would need to do and there were no surprises or deviations form the detailed estimate and contract that e were given. They went above and beyond and took what was a tough to navigate driveway and made it with a much more navigable pitch. We re very happy with all of the work, the attention to detail with the Belgian block edging - pitch at the street to deter storm run off as well as incorporation the block into my flower bed edging. You cannot go wrong with this company!

We wanted to replace existing blacktop driveway , concrete patio , concrete rear walkway with pavers, and at the same time , run roof drains underground away from our house. I should note that I've spent over 40 years in the construction field and my father was a general contractor , so I have some knowledge of this kind of work. We contacted quite a few contractors for estimates on our project. None of them inspired much confidence in their ability to handle the job properly , and in a timely manner. When we spoke to Robert , owner of Driveway Contractor LLC., we were impressed with his knowledge , experience , and advice . Robert's estimate was competitive and his professionalism , knowledge , and response to any questions we had were outstanding. Based on these factors , we awarded him the contract. Robert started the job when stated and was on the job site often , overseeing the work. Throughout the project he advised us of all that was happening. His crew of workers are very skilled , competent and hardworking craftsmen. The project was completed ahead of schedule and the work was excellent!! We could not be more pleased with the end results and have received numerous compliments on our new driveway which is beautiful!! The patio and rear walkway are equally as impressive!! If you are considering any paver or hardscape projects , Robert is the man to contact...you will not be disappointed! If it were possible we would give Driveway Contactor LLC. more than 5 stars!! We had a very old concrete patio with a brick retaining wall that was crumbling and dangerous. We wanted to save the brick retaining wall due to the character of it and Robert was the only contractor (out of several) that was able to provide a somewhat cost effective solution and was able to save the brick retaining wall. He could have told us it couldn't be saved in order to make more money for himself, but he was honest and fair instead. He was very helpful and patient while assisting me in choosing the right pavers for the job and met me at a few locations to show them to me in person. He even took me to a home where he had just completed a patio with the pavers I was considering. The patio has been done for a few months now and we absolutely love it. They also helped us with the landscaping around it! Robert and his team were very professional, friendly and considerate throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a new patio or any type of paver job.

Resurfaced a 1,150 sq. ft. asphalt driveway. An excellent overall job. The crew worked quickly and diligently, appeared to do a quality job, and cleaned up well. No surprises. The price was reasonable and Robert, the owner, was very professional in all aspects. He responds quickly and satisfactorily to all questions or concerns, and kept me well informed throughout the process from the time of the proposal to finish. Highly recommended.

I would first like to thank the Angie’s List community who has given Robert, of Driveway Contractors great reviews. It is because of your reviews that I requested an estimate from him. As soon as my husband and I interviewed him, we knew he was the person for the job. So I would also like to add this wonderful review in the hope that someone else was in the same situation as we were. We had a number of issues, but the biggest one was redoing our driveway so the water drained properly. He regraded our entire back yard and driveway. We had two areas with drainage problems and I am very, very happy to report that they have both been resolved. And we had a lot of rain this summer so the problem was definitely resolved. That is why, although the work was completed in May, I am writing this review now. I wanted to verify that the drainage issues were resolved. What I liked about Robert was that he listened and came up with ideas. He totally ripped out our driveway, put pavers in and did so in a decorative style that I never would have thought of. In addition, he built us a retaining wall with steps to match and the place looks awesome. Everyone who has seen my new driveway, retaining wall and pavers love them. In regard to price he was right in the middle, but the quality of work was amazing. A true testament of his character is that his loyal workers have been with him for some time and they were just as nice and respectful as Robert. Robert managed the job from beginning to beyond end and was there just about every day to make sure things ran smoothly. He also stands behind his work. You will not be disappointed!
