Great experience, from day one to the day the project was completed. I dealt with Andrew the majority of the time and he made it all much easier than I expected. I have always been scared because you always hear about these projects gone wrong, but I have no complaints. Almost everything went as planned and when there was a change I was notified immediately along with an explanation. The finished product looked amazing and most importantly how I wanted it to look. They did everything in their power to give me want I wanted. I would definitely use them again.

I found Donand construction through a friend that just had his basement remolded. hired Donand to renovated my entire two bedroom apartment which consisted of the demolition of all the Lathe and plaster ceilings and walls all existing electric, plumbing tong and groove floors down to the floor joists. After all the demo was complete they had to replace some of the floor joist that were cracked this was the first that occurred on this project and was informed about it before they proceed with the work. After they repaired the floor joists they installed a new plywood subfloor and in the same day installed all the replacement windows and main front door Next their electrician came in on rewired the entire apartment to my specifications adding some extra work that I'm glad that I did for example having a pendant light over my dining room table and Island, under counter lights for my new kitchen which I didn't anticipate (once again I was informed about the price of the extra work I was given a change order). Next The plumber came in and installed new plumbing for my bathroom shower, toilet and vanity in the kitchen sink dishwasher, filtered cold water and instant hot water water maker, I'm so glad that he suggestedthat I add a waterline from my refrigerator which they done at no additional cost. A few days later the insulators and the guys that on this Sheetrock showed up and were finished in three days. The woodworkers were next first they installed all new prefinished hardwood flooring throughout my apartment which they covered immediately to prevent scratching, installed new doors, door and window trim and made me a custom four pice base molding, a three pice crown molding and my new kitchen cabinets. Next was the ceramic and porcelain tile installers they done an incredible job in my shower and bathroom area after the countertops were installed they give me one of the most beautiful backsplash doing a custom centerpiece over the stove. Andrew introduced me to Peter Brooks to do all our custom Granite and Marble Counter tops, we went together to Pertes showroom and he gave me advice on what will match my tile and cabinets. Next was the Painters which tied everything together; everything was primed and receive two coats of Benjamin Moore paint. After that there was multiple people there for a week completing all the loose ends very quickly to get me into my own home as soon as possible. The day that I moved in Donand sent two laborers to help us move our furniture back in at no cost. Overall Donand Construction has been one of the easiest companies that I have worked they were very punctual, respectable and honest. The job finished up 15% above the original budget but looking back at it it was money well spent and I have no regrets. Over the last few months I have had little issues which when I call the office they send somebody immediately to take care of.

1. Repair of all dings and dints from throughout the years and primed and panting. 2. Prefinished hardwood floor in three rooms and laminate flooring in one room. 3. Carpet in the living room on the stairs leading to the second floor. 4. 16 replacement windows with low E and ultraviolet light filtering. 5. Crown and base molding in four rooms. 6. Four head split air conditioning system. 7. Installed a new entrance door. 8. Installed a new vanity and toilet in our bathroom. 9. Installed Granite kitchen counter tops, 10. Professionally cleaned my entire house I had an excellent experience with Donand construction and their prices were very fair and there was no hidden expenses, The workers cleaned up my home every day when they're finished working, They were always very respectable as I lived in my house when the work was going on, I would highly recommend and will use Donand construction again. I have the cleaning crew come to my house every thursday

After Andrew just completed a construction project in my home I hired his cleaning crew to come in and do a post construction clean up. They cleaned everything absolutely perfect. I liked the cleaning crew so much that I have them return once a week to clean my home at which time I feel very comfortable leaving the cleaning ladies in my house when I'm at work. I highly recommend this company as they are fairly priced always punctual.

It all went well. They worked very clean and came back to touch up a few things a week later.

They were great. They did not such a way that we actually could stay in the house while they were doing the work, granted the electricity was a little bit picky because they were rewiring into our house but it was really good. They were very reasonably priced too for what they did.

Overall experience was one of the best we have ever had. Andrew and crew were always on time, courteous, and mindful of our concerns (except below). The quality of the work was excellent. Anything we weren't happy with (which wasn't much) was cheerfully redone to satisfaction. One note. The original job quote included tile. I expressed concern that I wanted a quality porcelain tile. Four samples were brought over and I selected one based on color. When the tile boxes arrived I looked them up on the web and they turned out to be .69 SF from Lowes and ceramic. He took them back no argument, we deducted $2.00 SF for tile which I then went out and bought on my own. I can't say what the other samples cost had I picked one of them. I wouldn't be surprised if they were close $2.00. I just happened to pick the cheapest one, but it shouldn't have presented in the first place since I specified porcelain. Andrew the owner was on the job a good deal of the time along with two other workers. They were all skilled at what they were doing. I will use them again.

I was very pleased by the work done. The only issue I had was that the power to my kitchen went out during construction one evening which included my refrigerator. This was due to temporary wiring in the basement. I called the company at 9 PM to let them know what happened. By 9:30PM their electrician came to the house to restore the electricity to my kitchen. They do excellent work and I would highly recommend them.
