Horrible, delays, delays, sold my lease to Surnrun. Mistake abound and no savings

The solar specialist was untruthful and attempted to lease me a system when I clearly stated I was only interested in purchasing a system. Solar specialist forged my signature and my wife's signature on solar leasing documents. After I forwarded a NOTICE of CANCELLATION to the company they still sent a representative to my residence WITHOUT my knowledge or consent and trespassed on my property. I would NEVER do business with this company again.

We didn't spend a dime with them. The cost of installation is rolled into the continuing usage of the solar panels. They give you a depreciation schedule by which you can buy the equipment outright and then you kind of switch over to a maintenance contract with them in case something goes wrong. It was a great crew. They came in probably the hottest week of the year. These poor guys were up on the roof sweating buckets making sure they can still get the job done in like 2 days. They found out that they had been provisioned with some incorrect equipment on the order so they ran up to Home Depot to get the right equipment. They handled everything. They deal with the municipal, with the permitting process and with the inspection process, with the electrical utility. They didn't have to engage us practically at all other than ensuring that we were okay with the statics of the roof. It was good. It's a great deal. It's a very green solution. They're professional. They're fast and they're clean. It's a great crew. I'd recommend everybody look into that solution. They were not just great installation crew but their office, the admin side, the following up, the calling were all excellent. I would not try and go to a different vendor so I would definitely use them. There's no question I would use them.

In the beginning everything went smoothly. We signed the paperwork and were advised that we would be hearing from someone. It took a couple of months for them to call us to set up appointments for the installation. I got the impression that there is a lack of communication amoungst the schedulers. The installers arrived and were not able to complete the installation since the panels had not been delivered. They installed everything they could and again we were left waiting. After the installation was complete and the town came to inspect it took another month for P.S.E. and G. to come and install their meter.

The job went very well. The contractors arrived on time and worked hard. They were all very courteous. We asked them to use more tarps to cover a greater area of our yard and our neighbor's yard, which they were happy to do. They did a great job of cleaning up too. We had thought that we'd need to take off all of the existing boards but more than half were in good shape, so they recommended leaving them and adjusted the price accordingly.
The job had been rescheduled a few times due to the rainy weather. There was good communication regarding rescheduling.
I also had a good experience with Scott Nappi, who scheduled the job. Scott answered a lot of my questions and submitted a revised proposal reflecting our concerns.
My only issue is that it seems that Roof Diagnostics is concentrating on its solar installations rather than roofing. When I called the general number my call was always answered by someone in the solar department and then they couldn't transfer my call. They'd take a message and have my call returned. The calls were always returned but I found the experience a little odd.

Everything went great, job well done. When I call on the phone they are very responsive.

They couldn't have been nicer on the phone. Even though it was an extremely busy time, which they explained honestly, we set up the initial appointment within 2 weeks. They called after inspection and explained why it wasn't a patch job. I agreed and they came within a couple days and did the whole job in one day -- to my amazement. This is in Ocean Grove so space is quite small and yet somehow they managed to do it all without damaging a single bloom in the garden. They even dealt with our most difficult neighbor who was annoyed that we didn't use the roofer she recommended. She threatened to call the police, and the roofer called me to ask what he should do since she was standing in front of the house with arms folded staring at the workers. I told him to ignore her, that a relative was on the local police force and that if she called it would probably be rather humorous. He thanked me and called me when the job was done. Not one scrap of anything was left for me to clean up. I can't think of anything better they could have done.

recently had a leak. went to the office to notify. was told that someone would be in contact with me. that was a monday. did not hear from anyone. called the office and asked why no one had responded or placed a tarp on the roof in view that it was a rainy week. was told they don't believe in tarps. finally tracked down the supervisor for residential roofing and had someone show up on friday. they also never contacted me when they would start the job, but just showed up and called me at work wondering why my dogs were out in the yard. expected me to come right home.

We were very pleased with that. We don't have any electric bills anymore!

My experience with using Roof Diagnostics, Inc for installation of Solar panels was one of the best yet! From start to finish this company truly knows how to handle its customers and services are performed in reasonable time and professional. All members of RDI made me feel comfortable and at ease through out the whole process. Staff was available at all times to answer any questions or concerns that i had. I would use them again and plan on RDI to be my future company for all roofing and solar needs.

We have had continual leaking and interior damage amounting to more than the original repair, and we have to start over with another roofer to redo the job!! They provide quotes and perform the initial work in a timely manner, however once you have an issue they are non-responsive and impossible to get a hold of. The initial quote was reasonable, but in light of the quality of the work and lack of service...not worth it! As they say, you get what you pay for.

Everyone pleasant and efficient. When new leaks appeared 1 1/2 years later, appointment was made for them to come out again. Waited entire day and no one came, nor called. Called the office the next day and receptionist set up another appointment which they again did not keep and again, no one called. Called again the 3rd day - receptionist apologized and was surprised. Made another date which was never kept, nor did they call. They were paid immediately upon receipt of bill. Do not understand the unprofessional manner.
