FIRST CALL: Our call was answered promptly. The office staff was helpful and a first appointment was quickly scheduled.
TESTING/QUOTE: The representative came to our home, did a walk through, and sent testing to an independent lab. Test results came back about 5 days later. Findings pointed to three kinds of mold in the basement and ? very sadly ? unsafe conditions for us and our pets. The quote was high but fair considering that the work to be done was extensive. A lot of information was shared at this point with us ? about mold, about the general process, etc. The very knowledgeable representative did a great job of explaining the process and answering our questions. While we declined a financing package, it was offered. He anticipated the process ? from start to finish ? would take approximately 10 days.
HOUSE CLEAN OUT: We were advised to rent a dumpster. (Independent company, paid separately.) A crew came by on a Saturday to assist with the move out process. The process took much longer than originally expected for a variety of reasons. Nevertheless, the team was incredibly professional and helpful.
MOLD REMEDIATION: The mold remediation followed a day or so later. The crew was in the house 2-3 days. We were warned that it can get a bit smelly (due to sealant fumes), so we vacated the house while they did the work. The team members worked very neatly in our home and the team leader communicated with us via phone/txt about the progress of the project.
THE OOPS PORTION OF THE PROJECT: The water remediation aspects of the project were supposed to begin right after the mold remediation. However Healthy Way mistakenly filed the work/construction permits in the wrong town! Mistakes certainly happen. (We understand!) And, they worked to rectify the situation. (Excellent!) However, communication with us was very spotty during this time. This project that began at the end of July slipped through to the end of August? It is now the first week of September and we?re just finishing that final lap. I love their people and workmanship. However, I admit I was a bit frustrated with this aspect of the project.
WATER MANAGEMENT & DEHYDRATION UNIT: Much work was done? and so far, so good!
THE WINDUP: Mold problems are scary and overwhelming. And, there are also a lot of dubious ?remediation specialists? out there. Healthy Way is staffed by skilled professionals who do quality work at a fair price. While, I hope to God I never have mold problem ever again in my life, if I do, I?m calling these guys.

Well it didn't help us. We still didn't find out the problem. My husband has been sick and we are trying to find out what it is and whatever they did did not bring up anything. It just did not bring up any results for us. Very nice fellow but it just didn't help and we are sorry because it cost us so much not to get an answer. He was very helpful. Price for us was kind of high.

The waterproofing team showed up promptly on the first day (and even shoveled part of our driveway!). There were about 6 or 8 workers, and they took good care of our belongings. All of them were polite and worked a full day. They returned the next day promptly and completed the job. Everything was cleaned up completely. The mold remediation team had to delay work by one day due to a snow storm, but arrived the following day, completing the job in two half-days. The basement smelled fresh and clean almost immediately. We got a follow-up phone call after the job was completed (one or two days later). There were absolutely NO surprises. All contract deliverables were met.

I can highly recommend the company. John King was my contact person who did all the testing. He made his suggestions and walked me through what would be happening. My confidence in him is strong. If you need work done ask for him. I am impressed with the work done.  Thanks John.

We were very happy with Healthy Way. Set up an appointment online on a Sunday and was called promptly on Monday. Jon came out to the house and tested out air and did an inspection of crawl space and attics. We were lucky to not have a mold issue! If we ever have any issues again, we'll call Healthy Way for sure.

Robert was excellent.  He took all of our phone calls, explained everything, and was very knowledgeable (I checked his and other statements made by others).  I'm skeptical of service providers and ... Robert's competence, commitment to quality, and desire to make sure the problem is 100% remediated made me see that Robert is someone who has honesty and integrity.  He determined that the moisture source had been fixed (our townhouse association fixed it) and then fully remediated the mold not only in the area where the source was but ... did the entire basement and then used his equipment to remove the leftover ambient mold in the air.  The result was that we now have a house that no longer has any mold issue and has tested at levels that give it the designation of a 'clean air building'.

Testing went very well.  While waiting for the machine to gather the air information, we talked and he (Robert Lanfrank - the owner of the company) was very enlightening about many different issues you could be having in your home and ways you could fix them if they were not anything he had to handle.

The tests had to be sent out to a third party and when they were received back - Robert called and went over the results with me.  I had a copy e-mailed to me from his office.  So we looked them over together - so I understood everything on them.

I certainly felt a lot better having these tests done and being explained everything by Robert.   

This job went better than I would ever have expected.  My first contact with Health Way was with John Whaley.  He tested the air quality and discussed what he felt, needed to be done.  He was concerned for the welfare of all of us who work here and respectful of the time constraints placed on me.

John Forsyth, Matt and Sean were the men who performed the work.  They were wonderful.  They always considerate of my staff, as we continued to work in another area of the building.  They went over and above to get this job done and to leave me with a mold free and beautiful work space.  The process was explained to me to my understanding and I was informed at all times of any problems, changes or issues that arose.

These Gentleman created a very pleasant work environment for me and took time over an above the regular work day, including the weekends, to complete the job.  My office opened for business on the day that was promised.

The task was accomplished, the mold is gone and my office was left more beautiful than I could have hoped for.  I highly recommend this company.  It is very rare in this day and age to work with a service company that is truly concerned about the welfare and comfort of others.  I thank you all.

It went very well. The job started and was completed on time. The technitions were very professional. With their past experience they were able to advise me on the next step in our home improvement. Which turned out to be a great help.

They charged about five hundred and fifty dollars for the mold testing, if you sign a contract with them to do the work, it comes off at the end. I guess that is sort of an incentive. So far my dealings with them has been very good. They did the mold testing about two months ago. Because the mold testing price comes off at the end, I would give them an 'A'. I would use them again in the future.

We were very satisfied with all the employees that came to our house. They all were knowledgeable, courteous, polite, punctual and were very helpful. All the work was completed in a very professional manner. John W inspected our home and explained all the problems we had. All the work was done by John F and Sean in the attic and basement. They were great and the work was perfect. They went out of their way to satisfy. Edgar did a great job installing the pump. We recommend them highly. The price seemed to be a little pricey, but we got what we paid for. They worked for 4 days.

I had an extensive mold problem in my attic. I called Healthy Way and set up a free consultation. The process was explained in detail and I understood how the job would proceed. I had an estimate with another company and it was comparable to Healthy Way. I decided to hire Healthy Way because I preferred their customer service. The job was scheduled for the Monday before Thanksgiving and I was told it would be done before the holiday. Two technicians were sent to do the work and it was completed in two days, before the holiday, as promised.
In addition to the positive customer service, I was pleased with the clean up in the house and the fast completion of the work. As an Angie's List member, I had a great coupon to use towards the work. And, they offered "same as cash" financing which worked very well for me.
There were a couple of minor negatives. I thought the numbers of calls made by the office while I was deciding if I wanted to hire them was on the excessive side. And, I had a lot of phone tag issues when trying to ask questions prior to the job beginning. 
All in all, I had a really good experience. I really hope to never need mold treatment again but if I do, I would hire Healthy Way.

He was thorough and honest. I felt that he knew what he was talking about. What they wanted to do, my parents could not afford. My parents were already tied into a contract before we got the full estimate. They were not upfront with their estimate. If you do not have the work done that they suggest, they will not guarantee it. It will void the warranty. It was a five year warranty. They broke stuff during the removal. There was a lot of labor time wasted. They promised me that they would help my mom make decisions. They did not help her. They mislead me in how they were going to help her decide what to keep and what had to be thrown out. They did get rid of the mold. They did not bother to remove things before they started tearing things out. There were nails and live wires exposed. They told me that it was not safe to have anyone down in the basement. They did not clean up after themselves. The owner has been very responsive to my mother. My husband was able to take care of it. I would not use them again.

This company has great customer service, response time to the client, very informative and detailed oriented.
Knowing that we are going to have to battle our Condo Association, Frank was kind enough to take extra photo's I need to attached to my complaint to our Condo Association.  I felt bad because he had to go back under the crawl space twice, but he replied he wanted to make sure we were happy.
I was so wrapped up with my concerns I forgot to mention that we found his company on Angie's List when writing the check for service.  Frank was the one who asked us where we found his company and after his original price to us, he gave an additional 10% off the job.
We need additional testing and would like to hire this company for another assignment.

I contacted HealthyWay in 11/13 to remove mold in my mother's vacation home in southern New Jersey. This has been an ongoing problem and although I had hired another company to address this issue, the mold was still an issue. Healthyway was able to pinpoint where the mold was as well as determine the causes. The estimator did a very good job in discussing the options in addressing the mold removal. She also gave me a detailed written proposal of the costs. Once I agreed to have the work done, HealthyWay was able to start the work within a week. The two man crew did an excellent job. They were professional and knowledgable in their work. They took care to protect furniture etc as they performed their work. They also took the time to walk me through the work that they were doing. To date the mold has not returned, and I am confident that HealthyWay has finally solved the problem.  I also want to thank the owner and his office staff for their flexibility in the handling of the billing process since I was working with my elderly mother in getting her authorization to green light the work.  I would recommend HealthyWay to anyone who needs mold remediation performed.

It was pretty good.  The person I dealt with was an owner and every time I had an issue they would be there to resolve it.  They did a great job.  It was always a good experience when I was dealing with the guy, I think he was one of the owners, but a couple of times they left the work and I had to keep following up.

Everything went well.
Basically there were three steps.
1. Evaluation, test and estimate
2. Mold remediation, which consisted of removing walls and pieces of the ceiling, removing the mold and then replacing the walls and ceiling.
3. Retest
The provider under estimated and over delivered. There was some work done that was not in the estimate and I was not charged for the extra work.
While no one ever wants to go thru a mold issue the people at Healthy Way made the process and the work that needed to get done bearable. They were professional, pleasant and helpful. 
While I hope that I never need their services again if I do have a mold problem in the future they will be the first call I make.

We contacted Healthy Way on 9/3 regarding the groundwater moisture and Brian came to the house on 9/6 to inspect the problem and prepare a proposal. sThe quoted cost was over $13K, but Healthy Way has a standing policy of offering a 10% discount to Angie?s List members so the price was reduced to $12,105 upon producing our Angie?s List member number. The price also included a transferrable service warranty for ?the entire period of time in which the customer holds title to the property against water penetration (water management).? After about a week we contacted Brian to accept the proposal and he returned on 9/17 to deliver the contract and collect a deposit of $4,000. About two days later we were contacted by Chester, Operations VP, to schedule the work which began on 9/24 and concluded on 9/25. The crew arrived as scheduled between 9:00am and 10:00am and quickly got to work preparing the area, covering all our belongings in the basement with heavy duty plastic to protect them from construction dust. The crew also set up negative-air machines in the basement and on the first floor of the house to scrub the air. Before the work began, the head of the crew reviewed the specifics of the contract with me and told me what they planned to accomplish that day. Chester, the Operations VP, came to the house to check the progress of the work and to ask if I had any questions or concerns. The crew leader checked in again with me at the end of the first day to let me know that they were done and what time they would return the next day. On second day they returned at the promised time, concluded the work, and cleaned up all the construction debris and removed the plastic. Chester was present for the final walk-through of the basement and collected the balance of the work fee. From start to finish all the Healthy Way employees were courteous, prompt and professional and we were very satisfied with the whole experience.
