Healthy Way is a leader in foundation (basement & crawlspace) waterproofing, mold testing and remediation, structural repair, insulation and remodeling. We service all of New Jersey with offices in Wall Township and Hoboken. Our dedicated certified staff is trained in the latest technology and methods for solving your water, mold and foundation problems and protecting your home or building for years to come. At Healthy Way we understand that no two water, mold, or structural problems are the same. Therefore, we will not offer you a "cookie-cutter" solution to your unique problem. Our technicians have repaired more than four thousand foundations - each with its own unique challenges and solutions. That's why we only offer a 100% solution or we do not do the work! Our owner, Robert Lanfrank, has been in the industry for more than 23 years. Healthy Way employs more than 20 people. We do not sub-contract any of our work. In addition to General Liability Insurance we carry Pollution Liability Insurance which is the only insurance that protects our clients against the growth or cross-contamination of mold and bacteria. We accept all major credit cards and offer payment plans such as no payments, no interest up to 18 months or low, fixed interest rate loans.

The provider arrived on schedule, was polite enough to take his shoes off when he entered the house, and listened to my concerns. He then inspected the bedroom where there was some mold on an interior wall. He cleaned the mold off the wall using a solution designed for that purpose and assured us that the problem was only on the surface and not throughout the wall.
He then inspected the garage and gave us some specific steps to take so we could determine whether the mold had penetrated the wallboard. He gave us specific things to look for and, if we found them he recommended that we call him back for remediation.
There was NO COST for this thorough inspection. I would strongly recommend Healthy Way NJ to anyone who thinks they have mold issues.
"I'm truly sorry that you feel this way. The vast majority of our 4000+ clients are very satisfied with their experience with our company. As the owner I did speak with both the manager who scheduled your appointment as well as your inspector. My manager said she explained to you the price of the mold testing as advertised on Angie's List. My inspector stated that when he arrived you thought the testing should be free. Unfortunately, when the samples are sent to the independent laboratory, there are fees incurred. The reputable mold companies all charge for testing and most of them are more expensive than Healthy Way. In addition, only 2 states in our country have laws against the same company performing the testing and the remediation. New Jersey is not one of those two states. As a matter of fact, more than 90% of our customers hired Healthy Way to perform both. Of course, it is your prerogative to use separate companies. Healthy Way never uses scare tactics. We take the time to educate our clients but, since mold can sometimes cause health issues, that sometimes creates fear within that person. I wish you the best in resolving your potential mold issue."
TESTING/QUOTE: The representative came to our home, did a walk through, and sent testing to an independent lab. Test results came back about 5 days later. Findings pointed to three kinds of mold in the basement and ? very sadly ? unsafe conditions for us and our pets. The quote was high but fair considering that the work to be done was extensive. A lot of information was shared at this point with us ? about mold, about the general process, etc. The very knowledgeable representative did a great job of explaining the process and answering our questions. While we declined a financing package, it was offered. He anticipated the process ? from start to finish ? would take approximately 10 days.
HOUSE CLEAN OUT: We were advised to rent a dumpster. (Independent company, paid separately.) A crew came by on a Saturday to assist with the move out process. The process took much longer than originally expected for a variety of reasons. Nevertheless, the team was incredibly professional and helpful.
MOLD REMEDIATION: The mold remediation followed a day or so later. The crew was in the house 2-3 days. We were warned that it can get a bit smelly (due to sealant fumes), so we vacated the house while they did the work. The team members worked very neatly in our home and the team leader communicated with us via phone/txt about the progress of the project.
THE OOPS PORTION OF THE PROJECT: The water remediation aspects of the project were supposed to begin right after the mold remediation. However Healthy Way mistakenly filed the work/construction permits in the wrong town! Mistakes certainly happen. (We understand!) And, they worked to rectify the situation. (Excellent!) However, communication with us was very spotty during this time. This project that began at the end of July slipped through to the end of August? It is now the first week of September and we?re just finishing that final lap. I love their people and workmanship. However, I admit I was a bit frustrated with this aspect of the project.
WATER MANAGEMENT & DEHYDRATION UNIT: Much work was done? and so far, so good!
THE WINDUP: Mold problems are scary and overwhelming. And, there are also a lot of dubious ?remediation specialists? out there. Healthy Way is staffed by skilled professionals who do quality work at a fair price. While, I hope to God I never have mold problem ever again in my life, if I do, I?m calling these guys.

Robert was excellent. He took all of our phone calls, explained everything, and was very knowledgeable (I checked his and other statements made by others). I'm skeptical of service providers and ... Robert's competence, commitment to quality, and desire to make sure the problem is 100% remediated made me see that Robert is someone who has honesty and integrity. He determined that the moisture source had been fixed (our townhouse association fixed it) and then fully remediated the mold not only in the area where the source was but ... did the entire basement and then used his equipment to remove the leftover ambient mold in the air. The result was that we now have a house that no longer has any mold issue and has tested at levels that give it the designation of a 'clean air building'.

"Our inspector spoke to this client after we read his review. Though he did gather other estimates they were not "apples-to-apples". The other estimates were addressing issues that should help to improve his problem but not solve it permanently. Healthy Way provides a 100% solution or we don't do the work. This was the main reason he didn't like our price. We were proposing a lot more work which would cause our total cost to be higher than the others."

Testing went very well. While waiting for the machine to gather the air information, we talked and he (Robert Lanfrank - the owner of the company) was very enlightening about many different issues you could be having in your home and ways you could fix them if they were not anything he had to handle.
The tests had to be sent out to a third party and when they were received back - Robert called and went over the results with me. I had a copy e-mailed to me from his office. So we looked them over together - so I understood everything on them.
I certainly felt a lot better having these tests done and being explained everything by Robert.

This job went better than I would ever have expected. My first contact with Health Way was with John Whaley. He tested the air quality and discussed what he felt, needed to be done. He was concerned for the welfare of all of us who work here and respectful of the time constraints placed on me.
John Forsyth, Matt and Sean were the men who performed the work. They were wonderful. They always considerate of my staff, as we continued to work in another area of the building. They went over and above to get this job done and to leave me with a mold free and beautiful work space. The process was explained to me to my understanding and I was informed at all times of any problems, changes or issues that arose.
These Gentleman created a very pleasant work environment for me and took time over an above the regular work day, including the weekends, to complete the job. My office opened for business on the day that was promised.
