Chem-Dry

The carpet was disgusting before they started. Tenant carpeting, so we used them for a move out-move in. I thought I would have to replace the whole carpet. Their videos is exactly how they work. They got the carpets tenant ready. They were on time and did the work. They were really good, and the carpet was pretty much dry by the time they left. It was perfect. The way they clean is all natural. You do not have chemicals, it is hot carbonation extraction. They barely use any water. It is safe for pets and children.

Used Chem Dry's New York City website. Put in dimensions of rooms and received a quote. When the Company called back, the quote went up about $100.00. When questioned, the answer was that the Home Office had not updated the website. As far as I am concerned this is classic bait and switch and I have no intention of ever calling them again..

We think we used them because they were very upfront about what chemicals they were using or just based on our requests. They never up sell their work. For example if there's a room, they would not say they would do a stain removal because the steam cleaning is just as good, and there's no reason to up charge for the same room. So they don't do it, and they're pretty honest and straightforward. Their price is average. We will use them again in the future.

I spent $200 on the job. They came out on time and did a good job. Their price was good. I would recommend them because they are reliable. I would use them again in the future.

My rugs are not soaking wet when they are done. As a result of the way that they treat rugs, the rugs are not worn, they are not rippled, they are not stretched. They don't look like rugs that have been cleaned. If you have seen rugs that have been cleaned with water, they kind of get stretched out of shape and that is not the case with this company. They seem to know what they are doing. They are very polite. They clean up after themselves. They don't track dirt through my house when they come in with my equipment.
