Called another locksmith I had used before. It was Monday; earliest they could come was Friday. I called Prestige at 2:30--owner said "How about 4:00?" He came, tried an old key we had tried but didn't work. He ended up replacing the lock. He was quick, tidy, and efficient.

Be careful of pricing!   I called to get quotes from locksmiths and was told that their labor fee was a flat $95.  Others charged hourly rates.  Not wanted to get into a situations where an installer dragged their feet, I went with Prestige because they had the flat rate (I even called back to confirm that it would be flat rate for the "visit" before booking a date) even though their material was a little more expensive.   boy do I wish I went with the other company.  During the job it was discovered that two cylinders were broken and they needed to replace the doorknobs.  Understandably the cost of materials would go up, but then the labor went up an add'l $100 dollars.  A total of $195 dollars in labor for a 45 minute job (total time at the house).  When I called to question the additional charge, Vinny the owner who called me back was very defensive.  Talking over me when I was trying to talk.  I was very calm when explaining why I was surprised by these charges and his tone was not professional.

HI searched for this provider for my daughter. The work was done at her home when I was not present. She told me the locksmith was prompt, knowledgeable and neat. All the work done was of high quality.

They were incredible. I would recommend them to the moon and back. Not only did they do a wonderful job on the replacement of our door locks, they came to our apartment in 10 minutes and got the key out immediately. Because he remembered my husband from last week, he didn't charge us. He is amazing and what service!!!! I would again recommend them to the moon and back.

I should have asked for the estimated costs upfront! The services provided were fine, but the total bill was not. Upon completion of the job, I did not question the fees, but did so the next day and spoke to the locksmith who justfied his fees. We just moved into a new home and wanted to have the locks re-keyed and a door knob replaced. It was recommended that I also replace a deadbolt and disable a turn lock - He was right, both items needed be addressed. However, the fees for just these two items were aprox $200+. He should have told me. I also requested a small slide lock be placed on an interior door. The fee for this was $75+; $30 for the small lock. Home Depot sells it for $5. I expect to pay a premium for his materials, but not 5x more than the standard rate. I used Prestige Lock upon a recommendation from a home profressional. I have since let him know my experience.

I had emailed the shop a few days before we were closing on our house. Vin the owner responded after hours and let me know that if the closing was in the morning he could change the locks that afternoon. He showed up 20 mins early and took care of all the locks and keys in less than an hour. Super nice guy, reasonable prices (we paid $400 for a Medeco deadbolt in Manhattan--so this was cheap!) and would definitely recommend Prestige Lock and Home to friends.

It was excellent. I called and a very personable person told me what they could do and about how much it would cost. When I went to the store he was very helpful. The locksmith had to come out to my house to replace a deadbolt and door lock and he was ontime and did a great job. Great company. I will use them for all my door related needs going forward.

When I called to make an appointment the man at the office was very helpful and professional. He suggested that I email photos of the problem door, which I did. The locksmith called me very soon afterward to review the problem. When I needed to re-schedule the man in the office, Rick, was very gracious and easily re-set the appointment.
The locksmith Vinny arrived promptly at 9am. Most (9 out of 10) service providers get lost or can't find our home. Vinny just appeared at exactly the right time. Very good sign. He had everything he needed to fix the problem (door knob, rosette, extra screws). Second good sign. He repaired it and was friendly, polite, and professional throughout the time here (roughly 30 minutes).
I will definitely use Prestige again and will recommend them to anyone who needs their services. I am a new customer for life : ) Thanks, Prestige!

I called them to get a new lock but when they came they said they could just fix the one I had. I was very impressed.
