Been a customer with Bartlett for many years. Seems as if the management & team has changed post-CO19 . Received a quote for tree maintenance for $1.7k and was asked to pay the ENTIRE invoice up-front without receiving a date for service therefore, no guarantee that the work would be completed. Asking for 100% payment upfront is not only un-ethical, its not something I've ever been asked to do in the past with Bartlett. 50% deposit then balance once the work was completed. Bartlett has lost a customer! I don't recommend.

Ryan came for the initial review on time. The work was done after the insurance payment. His team was very professional and had the job completed in a few hours on a very hot day. They cleaned the small branches and wood chips in my driveway. I would highly recommend them for any tree services. This was the second time I used them. Very satisfied.

Four days after I told Bartlett I wanted the tree removed, they were at my house. They arrived at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, November 4th. Their expert tree climber knew exactly what he was doing. He was up in that tree for hours. By 2:00 that afternoon, the most dangerous branches had been removed. They came back the following Monday and continued to work all day, taking down the rest of the branches and leaving just the trunk up to about 20 feet. The following day they called to tell me that they had squeezed me in because they knew how anxious I was to have the branches down and that they would be back the following Friday or Saturday to finish the work. Sure enough, they arrived at 8:00 a.m. Friday morning, and they are working on the tree as I write this review at 1:00 in the afternoon. The trunk of the tree, which is probably close to 60 inches around, is now down to a couple of feet high, and the pieces are being disposed of. I cannot speak highly enough of this company's knowledge of trees and their expertise about every phase of tree care, maintenance, and removal. What that other company was not able to accomplish in three months, they did in three days. They are the best of the best. Are they inexpensive? No, definitely not. But the difference in price between Bartlett and that other company, who were totally unable to deliver the goods and has caused me so much grief and still refuses to return my deposit, was $1,700. To me, the difference is well worth it. Bartlett also knows how to communicate with their customers. The other company rarely returned my calls. Bartlett has a professional staff that is helpful, courteous, and always available to talk to and to get messages to or from the people who are out working.

They do a great job. I have referred them to other people and businesses and everyone who has used them has been very pleased. They also have the contract for our subdivision. They charge each time and they charge by the tree. They do a great job of cleaning up afterwards, you can’t even tell they’ve been here except the dead ones are gone. It takes them a couple of hours to complete the work. There are about four people on their crew when they come out.

We have been using Bartlett Tree Service for over 10 years to care for our pin oak tree and shrubs. Their tree pruning is excellent, and their pest control and fertilizer has done the job. I recommended them to my neighbor and she has commented over and over that her trees and shrubs have never looked better.

Matt was professional when coming to my house and giving a quote.  He also suggested additional services then what I wanted but we only with pruning and treatment.  When the guys came to my house to prune the trees one guy actually climbed the tree while another stayed on the ground to guide the very large limbs that were coming down and when they were done they cleaned up and left no debris.  I would hire them again for additional services.

Everything was done as requested, safely and timely. Properly done tree work does not come cheap. We were very pleased with the job nonetheless. My compliments to Angel, Marvin and Liz . All were very pleasant and professional.

The Bartlett team did a great job.  We were particularly concerned with how the flowering pear tree would be pruned.  We wanted it thinned out and brought down in height (flowering pears shouldn't be allowed to grow too tall since they're not that strong), but we didn't want them to just lop off the top.  We've seen this done by others -- it looks awful and takes years for the tree to grow back. 
Instead of that "quick and dirty" approach, the Bartlett team trimmed branch by branch, carefully selecting which branches to cut to retain some fullness and a beautiful shape, while improving the strength and health of the tree.  We even received unsolicited positive comments from our neighbors.  They also did a nice job pruning the large maple tree and cleaning up all the debris.  
The arborist Keith was happy to answer all of our questions and gave us good advice.  We were also happy to see that throughout the pruning effort, the team used protective gear (goggles, helmets, ear covers).  They were professional, punctual, and considerate.
This doesn't come cheap but it is definitely worth the expense.  We'll definitely use them again in future.

We're currently looking to buy a house that has a tree that needs removing. We needed an estimate to let the seller know how much it would cost. Bartlett tree experts came out promptly and gave us an estimate and some literature on how to properly care for trees.

We use Bartlett on a regular basis for our tree maintenance. They sent us an email before Hurricane Sandy hit that if we had trees fall down, they'd provide us priority service. Sure enough, we had some serious tree damage with trees on the house and blocking our driveway> We left them a message and they arrived within 2 days to cut the trees up. No appointment needed, no fuss, fair prices.
Fantastic service! We will use them for as long as we live in this house.

It was one of the most seamless transactions we've had.  I know the price may have seem a little high in comparison, but in retrospect, you cannot put a price on professionalism and sensitivity.  There are other reviews listed here that will comment on the high price, but when you need a service to discretely enter a neighbor's yard and to enter a difficult part of my backyard (the Maple was in danger of falling/destroying my kid's playset), you want someone with the experience and reputation that follows.  Any regular guy with a chainsaw and a woodchipper wasn't going to cut it in this situation.  They were quick to fix, and even quicker to cleanup.  Keith even returned the same day after service to make sure we were satified with the job performed.  We were most definitely satisfied, and would have no problem reaching out to Bartlett again.

Hurricane Sandy brought down several trees on our property and two of them fell across our driveway.  As a result, no vehicles or pedestrians could access or leave the property.  We called Bartlett and the Tree Arborist, Keith Bimbi, assured us he would be there that day to assess the situation.  He came as promised and scheduled the removal of these trees for two days later.  The tree cutters arrived on time and cut and removed the trees in a very clean and professional manner.  The trees which were not blocking the access to the property were not considered a priority and are to be removed at a later date. 
We are grateful that Bartlett recognized that we had an emergency situation and prioritized it appropriately and we are happy to wait our turn for the removal of the other trees. 
We would have no hesitation in recommending Bartlett Tree Experts.

I would recommend them. The arborist, Charles, was excellent. He cleaned up well. He was a little expensive, but you get what you pay for and the quality was fine. I would use Bartlett Tree Experts again.
