Spring-Green Lawn Care

I made the purchase on Angie's List, was contacted immediately, and scheduled time before a party I was having in the yard. They came out and the party was a success. There were no bug bites.

We pre-paid for the service months ago, and they NEVER SHOWED UP. HELP!!!

Everything has been fantastic so far. I signed up last year after purchasing my home and during one of my visits lawn treatments, the technician recommended core aeration and overseeding. I didn't just have a few bare spots either (about 50% of my lawn was bare ). It was an additional and optional one-time charge. I have to admit that my lawn is now 95% grass. I will definitely continue services and follow the recommendations they suggest.

It went okay. However, when the person came he explained to me that they didn't spray stone beds, and I think he said they don't spray around plants and bushes. But the weeds where the stone are, is the main reason I was requesting their service. He sprayed them anyway.4

They came, they sprayed, and they left. Many of the lawn weeds died within a week.

It turned out wonderful. Their feedback was good. That was a great price for that. They came when they said.

The service was fine but the offer didnt quite align to the size of the area to be completed. They sent me an adjusted estimate which was hundreds higher but when I said no they came anyway and would have completed the whole yard if I wasnt there to stop them. They never responded to my followup emails. Haven't seen any new grass so we shall see come next year.

After no contact for awhile past the dates the system allowed me to pick, someone showed up early on a Sunday morning and just started working the lawn. If I hadn't been awoken by the machine outside my window; I've never would have know they were there until well after they were gone. I went outside and spoke briefly with the guy and he explained how the company was so backed up with jobs. That's why he came out Sunday to try and catch up. Except for riding that machine over the neighbor's lawn turning it around I guess. That's what the tracks indicated. He could have rake their grass out so it wouldn't look so bad. The job that I paid for was done.

They showed up without me knowing. Otherwise, they did a good job. They did a decent job. I just wish they had called.

Good. I wasn't present when the job was done, but it looks like the aeration was quite effective.

My front lawn had gone down to bare dirt and was looking terrible. Kevin aerated and seeded and paid extra attention to the worst spots.

Full yard was done. Now awaiting seed to germinate

Spring Green lawn service provided great service on my lawn, and on aerating and seeding in the fall. The two young men who came to my house were polite, informative and very respectful. I gave them a 5 on everything. They would have been my first choice for any work I needed. The problem came with the price, and agreed services. I bought a package of 7 lawn treatments for weed control for $146.00 through Angie's list. I assume they applied all 7 treatments. I didn't count them, and I have no reason to believe they did not apply all of them. Then I bought a package of aerating, and seeding for $208.00. They were there the very next day. I was really impressed!! As you know, services on Angie's list are prepaid, unless you add extras. I did NOT add anything extra. In December , I was billed an additional amount of $116.00. I thought it was a mistake. In January, I received a call that my payment was late. I called back , and spoke to a man who identified himself as Jim's Dad. He said he would make sure the bill was corrected. I also told him I would not be able to afford his services for 2016, I lost some income, and finances would be very tight. But if things changed, I would definitely deal with Spring Green. I came home weeks later, and there was a message on my answering machine stating Jim was coming by about 9:30 to treat my lawn. The call came in around 8, I leave for work at 7:15. When I came home and received the message, I called. Jim seemed to think I was using another lawn service. I explained I had lost a third of my income, and I would be doing the work myself. I also explained that I had cancelled the service with his Dad several months earlier. I told him I liked the work his company had done, and if I was able to use a service, it would his. Then I get a bill for $56. I called and stated I had canceled this and I didn't authorize him to do any work. I received a second bill, and sent it back with a note. The third one I shredded. Today, I received a bill with a big fat delinquent stamp showing in the window above my name, giving the impression I am a deadbeat!!! I called him, he told me he could not talk he was driving. I told him he needed to call me tonight. He got very belligerent. I told him if he did not call me back tonight I would post this on Angie's list, and Home Advisor. He did not call. I wrote this all on the outside of the envelope and marked it return to sender. This was a mistake that he refuses to correct. So his 5 star rating is now a 2.
