The owner came out when he said he would and was very friendly. The estimate came in the cheapest. They arrived on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Family owned and operated.

Harry and his crew were awesome from being to the end. They know there job and they are very good at it. Would definitely hire them again and I highly recommend them.

The weather played havoc with the schedule, and the work was postponed several times. The work NEEDED to be done in dry weather. They refused to "chance it". Anyone hiring this company needs to know that Art is proud of his product, so if Mother Nature, does not cooperate, just be patient. He will get the job done, and done correctly. Job itself went well. Looked nice and professionally done. However, after 1 year, tried to rehire company to re-surface and they don't return calls. Poor customer service, would not recommend, Always get an answering machine and never a live person.

They arrived early and proceeded to work the job was completed in approximately 4 hours.    The company is efficient; timely and knowledgeable about their work.   We were impressed with the efficiency and speed of their work.   I would definitely recommend  Penn Jersey for Black top driveway paving.

Art, his brother and crew were professional. We were pleased with everything.

The Penn Jersey personnel were good communicators describing the work to be done, calling to inform me the day before they were to arrive and summarizing the work that had been performed.  All personnel (Art, Harry, Kitty, Phoebe) were pleasant and enjoyable to converse with.  The driveway looked good after they completed the work. 
There was a problem with drainage which I noticed after a hard rain, however, Art and Harry came back and rectified the problem to my satisfaction.

Harry and Art were very professional and courteous.  Job was completed promptly and priced very fairly.  Quality of work was excellent.

THE ORIGINAL CONDITION OF THE PARKING LOT WAS BORDERING ON UNSAFE.  THEY REMOVED MORE OF THE ASPHALT FROM THE LOT, THAN THEY ORIGINALLY PLANNED.  BUT, TO DO THE JOB RIGHT THE WHOLE FRONT LOT HAD TO BE REMOVED. DOING IT THAT WAY WAS REFLECTIVE OF THEIR INTEGRITY.  EVERY QUESTION I HAD WAS ANSWERED WITHOUT HESITATION, EVERY PHONE CALL WAS FOLLOWED UP.  I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

Owner came out on a Saturday and did an estimate, up front (without be asked for) provide a list of question to ask (in case you didn't know/unsure), references for the local area going back 5 years, and afterwards a throughly written estimate.  Professional and personal was the first impression...you cannot under estimate the first impression.  After we set the date, there were multiple rain delays (my wife and I understand paving in pouring rain is not good, for anyone).  The office of Penn Jersey provided constant updates to our changing scheduled, I never had to guess what was happening.  (my side bar, outside work is largely based on weather, so understand if your work is delayed due to weather, its not bad service)  Day of the work, the entire crew came together, prepared, all dressed alike in company clothing.  Total professional operation.  The owner lead the day and as I learned, the crew consisted of sons, newphews, even the office is run by family.  Happy group of folks doing a wonderfully professional job and the driveway looks incredible.  We are extremely happy.

Penn Jersey responded quickly to my request for an estimate.  (The ladies in the office were lovely to work with.)
Theirs was not the cheapest estimate I received, but Penn Jersey was the company I had the most confidence in. 
The owner's son, Arthur Jr., spent a long time walking the driveway with me explaining what he thought I should do and why.  I had lots of questions and he gave me a class in Asphalt 101.  
The crew arrived right on time and did a wonderful job on the repairs.  Arthur, the owner's son, was on site for the entire job.  They were very careful of the existing curb stones, and left everything neat and clean.  They even coated the entire driveway giving it a uniform look.  I couldn't be more pleased.

Everything that was promised was done and on time. The driveway actually came out better than I expected. The owner and his sons were actively involved during the entire process. I am absolutely ecstatic about the driveway and it has increased the overall value of my home far more than it cost me. I could not be more satisfied.

Driveway was done in 2 phases. First the stones where removed and 2" asphalt base was put down. I then let it sit and settle and installed a basket ball pole. 2nd phase was another 2" of asphalt. The drainage system was bedded in concreate and about 50 feet of pipe was run to get the water away from the house. The driveway looks good and the drain works great, no flooding or water accumulation.

Definitely improved curb appeal. I thought the family owned business was run professionally and that the management cares about their reputation and wanting to do a great job. I would recommend them.

The company was very professional and showed up at 8:00 A.M. They got started right away and did a very good job- my driveway was completely re-surfaced and even widened by 2' on one side. They removed a large tree that was interfering with the driveway right through the middle of it.
The whole job took 4 hours and was worth waiting for- they are very busy so you may have a little wait to use them. The price was fair and I would use them again.

Went very well. They came and started right away. they were finished in les than an hour. Look very very good.
