I've used Bill La Riccia many times over the past several years, and have always been _extremely_ satisfied with the work, the price, and the speed of his response. Can't say enough great things about him, but realized I'd never actually left a review on here. (Wanted to come change that.)

Received a quick response after leaving a message to inquire about services for a non-urgent plumbing issue. A plumber was sent first thing the next morning to repair my toilet. The plumber showed up on time, was thorough and explained everything that he was doing and what was wrong. I found the cost to be reasonable. I will not hesitate to call them again for my plumbing needs.

I highly recommend L J La Riccia & Son. The service was excellent, prompt, and priced fairly. Mr. La Riccia is friendly and knowledgeable. I will absolutely hire him again for any plumbing related needs. It's great knowing I have someone reliable to count on! Thank you so much for the great service!

It was good.  He was quick and reasonable.  One plumber came out.  I use them regularly.

He can come right away.   Very professional and fast service.   You can totally trust him.   He explains whats wrong.   
He is so fast,  that $135 for a half hour work seems high.  But he is fast and good.

He was prompt, clear in his explanation and thorough in approaching the problem. He used better quality parts than originally installed only a short while ago by another worker. I appreciated that.

I bought a gas stove but the delivery folks weren't able to install it due to the location of the gas shutoff valve (they couldn't remove the old stove since the shutoff was in the basement). Bill was over within a matter of hours and had my stove up and running before dinner time. He helped me move the old stove out of the way, had to poke around with a flashlight above our basement ceiling tiles to find the gas line, and was friendly to my annoying dog without complaint. I have several other projects around the house and will be calling him again for those.

Came and completed the job as he said he would in the time he said it would take. Very prompt and most importantly, provide a fair quote well below others I had look at the job.

He fit my job in very quickly. There was also work to be done in making the Shower handicapped accessible (assist bars and replace 3 corner shelves), but he needed to put that off for another visit. He presented a bill which seemed high for simply replacing a commode, so I questioned it. He offered that his cost for the commode was the reason, and gave me a price for the commode that was, and quot;despite his discountand quot;, just about double the Home Depot price to us non-professionals! As he does not really present a written bill not share receipts I left it at that (I should have obtained a quote in advance). When he called to complete the job I simply said I would not be using him. The low marks I gave him reflect my perception of this apparent deception. I agree with those who praise his speed and the quality of work.

Fantastic! Bill is the type of plumber who is not afraid of repairing fixtures in old houses. He is fast, professional and cleans up nicely. He was also wonderfully persistent in following up with phone calls. His prices are very reasonable and I will be using him again for a few more problems. I can't speak highly enough of his service, his professionalism and his pleasant manner.

My electrician suggested getting a plumber in to assess the pipes to be sure I was able to have a garbage disposal before he put the switch in. I called Bill and left a message as to my situation. He called back within 15 minutes and was over within the hour. He confirmed the existing pipes were adequate for a disposal and said if I wanted him to do it today he was able to do it. He quoted me a price of $168+/-. The actual fee came to $148. I was very pleased with the quick response time and work completed. I will definitely call Bill again in the future.

He arrived at our home within a few hours of our leaving a phone message. Very nice appearance and friendly, professional
attitude. He was not trying to rip out ceiling and walls as a previous plumber wanted to do. I was in complete agreement with him to try this first. He does all of the work himself. We will definitely recommend him and use his services in the future.
It is difficult to find a person with his work ethic.

He came in like a whirlwind to fix the leak from upstairs into the heating cabinet. He was there about an hour and charged $277.50 for that and lit the pilot light on the gas heater which the water had put out. He gave me a price on the other work at that time and we later set up an appointment for him to do the additional work. He came in the second time and spent about 3 hours + or - and charged $575.25 which included the price of a bathroom faucet.
Everything now works fine. He knew what he was doing and did it efficiently and quickly. I had had other plumbers come in, charge me and do lousy work because they hadn't the slightest idea of what they were doing. His work was excellent.

Very well. Bill responded immediately and showed up as promised. The work was done fast and Bill was clean and professional. I would recommend him and use him again.

He showed up as scheduled both days. The quality of the work was outstanding. Very personable, over all one of the best contractors I have ever worked with.
