Scott came out and handled the switch replacement himself. He was personable and knowledgeable and got the unit working in no time. He even handled a very minor repair that I had left over from "superstorm" Sandy at no extra charge.
Afterwards, we discussed a couple of other projects that I was considering. I was impressed by his honesty and objectivity. He pointed out that one project that I was considering would provide me with minimal, or no, benefits and explained less expensive alternatives, assuming that I wanted to proceed at all. We also discussed a generator project. He could have easily tried to sway me to a more expensive option, but didn't. He discussed how the project could be "right-sized" (my term) for my needs without excessive costs. In an age where the buzzword seems to be "upselling," Scott's frankness was refreshing.
I will definitely be calling Marron & Seibel for future projects.
