Well and Pump Service
I had assumed my sewage ejector pump was broken and had to be replaced as the alarm went off in my basement.
When alarm goes off it means the sewage pump isn't working. I was concerned that the sewage water in my home
would back up, and needed to get the thing working again. I called Water Services and spoke to Al Nelson, the owner.
He quoted me a price to have the pump replaced and recommended a company that would remove the accumulated
sewage in the 1000 gallon outdoor tank if they had to access the interior of the tank. Al sent two of his technicians out the
next day. They arrived on time and inspected the alarm box, then went to work on the outside sewage tank that container
e ejector. It wasn't necessary to have the tank emptied. To my pleasant surprise, they informed me that the ejector pump
was in working order and that the problem was with the floats. One float, when activated by the rising sewage water level,
starts the ejector pump; the other float sets off an alarm when the ejector is not operating. There was also wiring problems.
They fixed the wiring and replaced the defective floats. The whole job was done in about two hours. And
the charge was thousands less than if I had to replace the pump and have the sewage pumped out into a truck.
They did a great job and I highly recommend them for this type of service.
