The guy said that it would take $25,000.00 to get this done. He kept changing the price the whole time he was there. We were told that if we got the solar energy, then the roofing labor would be free. The day before the appointment we were told to provide an electric bill and then we found out that we should've provided 12 months of electric bill at the time of the appointment. There wasn't enough time to get that for him. We got kilowatts for feburary of 2013 and 2014 and we were told that it would work. He explained that he could not do the estimate based on the kilowatts we provided for him. In the end we were able to locate three bills from 2011 and he pulled kilowatts from that. Spiratically he was checking the windows and everything and he told us we were using way too much energy. We didnt ask him to do that. The roof labor was actually being charged for and not free as advertised. He changed the roofing charges 3 times. When we asked for a manager we were told that the person that had sent us the email for estimate confirmation and told us about what we needed was the marketing manager. The representative claimed that he had 10 salesman below him and offers a discount and it's only provided for that one day. When asked why, he said that we needed to get another salesman out there and that had to pay them 10% commission if we didn't decide that day and we would have to go through that whole process again. We were also told that there would be no out of pocket cost and that there would be a tax credit that could be applied to the loan directly. we would get $8,000.00 back. we were told that we should apply for an equtiy loan after the first year if not than the interest would be much higher on the original loan. The appointment started at 7:30 am and he didnt leave until 11 pm.
