How do I begin? I wish I could give an A++ rating.
When I decided to sell my house the first place I checked was Angie?s List to see if there were any reviews for local realtors. I found two who had great ratings and set up interviews with both. Late one night after I had interviewed the first and before I had interviewed the second, I was looking at some of the online real estate sites. On one of  them ? I don?t remember which one- I clicked on a button to get an instant estimate of my home?s value.  Within seconds my phone rang and it was Dawn on the other end. Surprised, I asked if she made a habit of calling people at 11PM and she explained that I had called her. I didn?t realize that by clicking that button I was actually calling a realtor.  I believe we were on the phone for almost an hour that night and I decided to schedule an interview with Dawn.  While both Angie?s List realtors I interviewed were wonderful I am so thankful I chose Dawn.  I don?t believe you can always get the true measure of a professional when things are moving along smoothly.  But when the going gets tough you will know if you?ve made the right choice.  The sale of my home was quick (less than a week) and I am confident that with Dawn?s counsel I made the correct decision when I was presented with multiple offers.  Shortly after signing the contract for the sale, Dawn found me a house in the perfect location. It was not on the list of properties I wanted to see but she suggested we look at it and I was so excited to have found it. The contract went through attorney review and I found movers through Angie?s List and made arrangements with my contractor for the renovations I planned (also found through Angie?s List when I renovated two bathrooms). Everything was in place when the seller decided he no longer wanted to sell his home.  I was devastated and I felt abandoned by my lawyer who advised me that even though we had a contract, my obligation was to find another house to buy.  There was nothing comparable on the market at that time but Dawn checked new listings for me every day.  Through all of this, I never had any doubt that Dawn was in my corner. She was tenacity personified.  She was like a dog with a bone and in the end it was Dawn?s perseverance with the seller?s agent that finally got us to closing.  Even on the day of closing, when we did the walk through and discovered that the seller had not moved a lot of his stuff out of the house, she came through and took care of everything while I went to the closing on my sale. Then she met me at the closing for my purchase.  I cannot overstate how valuable Dawn was. She was masterful, dedicated, and principled and I could not have found a better real estate agent.
