Masonry Work
Carlos is a nice guy but the work at my house was mostly done by his subordinates with out his supervision. I was specific about the way I wanted the patio so that water would not run off a slope creating a muddy mess on the edge of the patio. The small raised edge (to block the water run-off) wasn't done as we originally discussed. When the workers told my wife that they were done, she paid them. BIG MISTAKE! When I got home I found that they used coarse QP dust to fill in the gaps between the pavers. They left caps unglued. The whole corner piece wasn't even attached! It was a mess. I called Carlos and he promised to come back to finish the job correctly. After 3 weeks,he finally sent a worker, but the job was again left incomplete. The sand wasn't applied correctly, and the corner cap still isn't glued in correctly. I regret using Carlos. I trusted him and I feel that he took advantage of me. I would not recommend him.
