Amazon

The only issue I have with Amazon is that when things go right, everything is great. But, when you try to get in touch with them, it is not good. I have a hard time getting in touch with them. I had an issue with Amazon on this order. The item I bought from them had a tag, 'Call us first before you go to your store.' There was a part missing and I called the company and they were very good. I called Amazon for a return/replacement. I called them and they said, 'Okay, here is the part number but it might take 7 to 10 days.' It was more like 20 days. It was only a $27 garbage can. I went and tried to contact Amazon. They have this policy of 30 days. If you don't call them or get in touch with them in 30 days, then they won't help you or there is no return possible. When I decided to contact them, there was no way to talk to them. You had to answer the questions a, b, c and when you got down to it, you had two choices one was that they would send you the product but charge you as another product and you have to send back the other product. The other side of the coin is that we wanted to keep the product. You could do a return or re-order. In either case, you are going to get charged if they don't get the broken one back and they didn't indicate that whether or not they would pay for the shipping of the item going back.
