When it comes to Film/Photographic/Slide and Video transferring services, I couldn't recommend anyone better than Ira Goodman and Video Data Services. I had multiple professional (3/4") video tapes of 25+ year old film footage needing digital conversions to DVD and MP4 encoding for playback on multiple digital platforms. Ira was "hands-on" and sat with me as we previewed various tapes to find the correct one for that day's transfer. Since the tapes were more than 25 years old, Ira took special care to make sure the tapes/footage were in good condition and proper working order so as to not destroy or damage the material. Once we identified the material to be transferred, Ira ensured that the recording machines were optimized to deliver the best quality transfer available. In the finishing process of creating the DVD's and digital encoding, Ira was exacting and thorough in making sure I was provided with the best quality finished products. He is an affable perfectionist with a broad knowledge of the industry's leading techniques and technologies backed by 30+ years of photographic and technical experience. Video Data Services pricing is incredibly fair and equitable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ira Goodman and Video Data Services to anyone in need of these services. Quality of transfers was very good...the DVD's were labelled nicely and packaged in a nice case...I had taken one of the tapes to a different transfer service previously and they said there was no sound on the tape...Video Data was able to transfer that tape successfully with sound. They did an exceptional job on that tape.I had then I had then do 16 more of my family video's..
