UNION VACUUM

I've had a Kirby vacuum for 40 years now and I recently took it to a local place that repairs Kirby vacuums.  Prior to taking it in worked perfectly except for the handle that was broken.  One day I accidentally broke the handle of the vacuum so I took it to this company.  Immediately after taking it in they told me the roller brush wasn't working properly.  I went ahead and left it there for repair and they replaced multiple things on the vacuum even though all I wanted was the handle fixed and head reattached (it wasn't broken).  My first time using it after they worked on it it was on for 2-3 minutes, I started to smell something burning and it just stopped working.  I looked at the vacuum and found some things that didn't look right and realized the motor was working so hard causing the burning smell.  I believe the roller brush that they replace is not a Kirby brush and the bristles aren't long enough to reach the carpet, which is causing the motor to work so hard it causes the burning until I shut it off.  I've called and talked to the employee that worked on my vacuum, explained the situation, and now they won't refund any of my money back and my vacuum doesn't work.

Replaced parts and cleaned. Came back working like new!  Took only 2 days.
