About us

My name is Keith and I am the Owner / Home Inspector of Nuts & Bolts Home Inspections, LLC. My business performs Home Inspections, Radon Testing, and Mold Testing for residential properties throughout New Jersey. I am licensed by the State of New Jersey and fully insured. My prior occupational experience includes working with pumps, acoustics, microelectronics, power plants, and the automotive industry. My educational background is in Robotics - Industrial Automation, Business Communications, Education, and Home Inspection. I use my professional and educational background to give my customers a complete tour of the house while also providing general maintenance tips. I highlight areas of concern and safety issues. My goal is to provide clients with an accurate and in-depth description of the current condition of the house and its systems. My goal for a home inspection is to explore the areas of concern such as; crawlspaces, roofs, and HVAC systems. I work in a methodical manner and approach each home as a puzzle that needs to be solved. Unlike other home inspectors, I do not mind getting dirty. I do not snap pictures from a door. I go through the door to see what is on the other side and access all areas of the home.

Keith was great. As a longtime city dweller anxious about maintaining a first home, he graciously answered all my questions, both during inspection and afterward. His report was thorough and detailed, helping my family make a clear eyed decision about our purchase. The report rolled easily into a project list after we closed, so I could confidently start making reasoned decisions about major projects and regular maintenance. For such a consummate professional, his rates are excellent. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

We couldn’t be more thankful for Keith and the inspection he did for us. He was very detailed and thorough throughout the whole inspection and provided us with lots of great information and knowledge. The report came back quickly within 48 hours of the inspection and was very detailed with lots of pictures and recommendations. As first time home buyers, this was completely new to us. We felt Keith was looking out for us and our best interest. He provided a lot of education throughout the inspection. We highly recommend Keith. 10 out of 10 in our books.

Keith was an excellent home inspector. I am in the process of purchasing my first home and didn’t know what to expect during the inspection. Like any great professional, Keith was thorough, detailed oriented and very friendly. Throughout the inspection, Keith explained all the mechanical and structural flaws that he discovered. For someone not familiar with certain structures like the furnace, HVAC, and hot water heater, I truly appreciated Keith taking the time to help me understand the importance of having properly functioning units within the home. Following the inspection, Keith promptly prepared a report which included digital photos of just about every aspect of the home. The report was evidence that Keith’s sharp eye and thorough understanding of residential homes were among the best in the profession. As I move forward in the home buying process, I take comfort in knowing that my home was inspected by a top tier home inspector who revealed all the hidden secrets that the sellers would never disclose. I am happy to have had Keith inspect my home and I would strongly recommend him for all home inspections.

I hired Keith to conduct an inspection of a condominium unit that I recently purchased. Keith was prompt, professional, and courteous. He conducted a thorough inspection, explaining his concerns in a transparent manner (I am clueless when it comes to home improvement projects and I understood everything Keith told me). He prepared a detailed report that highlighted his concerns and he provided excellent repair recommendations. I highly recommend Keith to anyone who needs a home inspector.
