Joe Junk

well, they got the name correct! Absolute JUNK!! I had Ken (Don't trust what he tells you it will cost) the owner come out and look over my house and provide me a price. His guys were not here for 10 minutes before that price doubled. Do yourself a favor and just get a dumpster from your trash hauler, it will be much cheaper!!! I paid nearly $800.00 to have two of Ken's guys for about 2 hours and got to fill a small dumpster. What a rip off!! Again, don't trust the price Ken gives you! he lies!

I love Joe Junk! They were prompt, polite, and reasonably priced. An old cabinet was overlooked, by us all, and they came back and picked it up at no extra cost.

I thought we were doing as well as could be expected with the circumstances and the personnel they used. They ignored my requests to give me more time to search in certain areas. One man and I found a HUGE wad of twenties that I zipped into my jacket pocket. Took jacket off--I was working as hard as they were. When I got home I realized the money was gone. Boss was sorry and offered me money. I asked him to speak with the men first. One witnessed the find, and another was suggested by the boss as the guilty party. He later changed his tune and asked me to write a letter detailing the events to submit to their insurance. Certified letter was received over 5 months ago. So much for being bonded and insured and the boss's promise that they don't steal! I am very disappointed in this firm.

OK, but one of the two men sent had never done this type of work before, was inappropriately dressed (looked like he was going out on a Sat night date!) and was slow. Consequently, it took them too long for the amount of work done. On the other hand, they were polite, responsive and, ultimately, did a pretty good job.

They came to my house and gave me what I thought was an estimate but I later realized that was the price.  I was happy to find out that what they estimate is what it will cost. They arrived on time and ready to go. They were very professional and neat in appearance. They began to move quite a few large items from the attic and never once nicked the paint or damaged the doors in the process. Once the attic was finished, they proceed to remove the items from the basement. The stairs to my basement are a bit narrow so I was hoping they didn't run into trouble with removing the larger pieces. They finished without any problems and about a 1/2 hour earlier than I had anticipated. I would definitely use them again in the future.
