Jaeger Kitchens is a division of Jaeger Lumber providing custom kitchen, bath and cabinetry design services out of their Union, Madison, Stirling, Middlesex, Point Pleasant Beach, and Belmar locations. Jaeger Kitchens is a proud member of NKBA and has created luxury kitchens throughout the tri state area. We design custom kitchens, baths, cabinetry, offices, libraries, laundry and mud rooms to compliment each client's individual style and budget. They said, that just replacing the door could be done, but that lining a new door up to an old frame is not the best way to ensure proper insulation and sealing, so we went for the expanded work. Again, after our experience with the garage doors, I didn't think that they were trying to and quot;up selland quot; me on the more expensive option. Just giving me their opinion and my options. We discussed costs and I was given a clear understandable estimate and when I did have a few questions, they were clear and responsive with their reply.
They worked quickly, with a minimal amount of mess and inconvenience, and we had thought that we would need to call our alarm company to re-establish the front door connection to our home security system. They did it for us right on the spot and it is working fine. The door and frame are unfinished and we will be painting it soon. We noticed that the small amount of air you could feel around our old door was gone, and the new door is so well insulated, it has seriously cut down on the noise volume of passing traffic on our very busy street.
