Horrible Contractor, he should lose his license to perform any Construction Services in NJ. The Project dragged on for almost 2 years and we had to hire others contractors to finish the job. Contractor was paid 90% of the job and finished about 50%. Failed inspections many times, failed to take out Required Permits. Left Job Site and Premises a Mess including construction debris and 200+ yards of Dirt Piles in our back yard. Attempted to provide Services that he and/or his subcontractors were not qualified to deliver. Constructed a Rear Deck without any Footings as required by Building Plans & by Building Codes Didn't provide agreement services: Electric, Plumbing, Tiling, Flooring, Sheetrock, Taping, Spackling, Paint, Cabinet Installation, Appliance Tie-in, Trim work, Decking, Gutters, Lighting, functional bathrooms, safe ingress & egress to home, etc. Failed to Vent Dryer exhaust (CO) Carbon Monoxide to outside of home, left exhaust venting into the home's interior Unable to follow plans, missed additional 2 feet of depth in new basement, plans showed it to be a sunken room. Missed numberous promised / agreed upon Deadlines & Meetings with Home owner and Town Officials. Demanded a very aggressive payment schedule, then failed to provide & perform all the Products and Services promised. Permitted workers to operate in unsafe environments. Roofers & Siders working alone at Jobsite on Roof of 3-Story Structure. Damaged existing home structure and Integrity without conducting acceptable repairs. He didn't secure the job site: missing home-owner tools and construction materials that homeowner supplied Refused to provide Official Job Documentation as requested & Required (plans, permits, pass/fail inspections stickers, etc.)
