Installed an outlet incorrectly. Told them to put in a new outlet for our grill outside and ever since outlook keeps on tripping. I tried contacting them after we started using it and we keep on giving excuses of all of different reasons and saying the grill was wrong, but then we tried plugging the grill into a different outlet And it works fine then when I reconnected with them they said well you should’ve told us this is what it was for and I said the only reason this outlet was done was because of we just bought this grill and then trying to charge us again for them to come out and fix it and see what they can do. If you do a job incorrectly, I believe that you should rectify it and make the situation better. Also, when you sign the bill at the end, they asked for a tip which I’ve never seen an electrician or some type of home service asking for tipping, which is ridiculous.

I had an estimate for $1630. Mike verified that I could use the $150 off for $1500 in Electrical work coupon. Two parts of the job could not be done because they would need custom carpentry work. Mike reduced my invoice to $1485. $15 below the threshold for coupon use. I offered to voluntarily increase my bill to $1500 so that I could use the coupon. Mike refused, treated me in a disrespectful way, and fired me as a customer. I was originally referred to All City by Home Advisor. I called them. All City Electrical was dropped by Home Advisor for not 1485.00meeting their requirements

"Hey [Member Name Removed] I was never once disrespectful to you. I deal with hundreds of people a week and have no idea of who wants to use a coupon or not. If a job that was quoted and fits the criteria of meeting a promotional offer then yes I would have agreed if I asked by a customer if a particular offer would apply. Your job was quoted on November 14th and your install was performed on December 15th. I was informed by my technician on the day of service to alter our contract because of 2 items that you didn’t want completed. I gave a honest revision of $145.00 because we didn’t perform those 2 particular items and then you called me at the office and asked if I could charge you an extra $15.00 so you can claim your coupon followed by a comment stating you had more work and that I should give you the discount to gain that so called work. I was very honest with you and said if your a person like that then please don’t call us in the future. I’m sorry your upset about a coupon but we gave you great service, showed up when promised, no up charges, gave you a top notch job and treated yourself, your wife and home with respect. With regards to Home Advisor that’s actually a false claim. They merged with a Angie’s List a few years back and their business model no longer made sense for our company and we choose only to maintain Angie’s List only moving forward. Perhaps if your approach and demeanor was different we would have tried to work with you to somehow. But as others may see you have now went on 3 different platforms to try and ruin our reputation. We make acceptations and help people daily. Best of luck to you!"

All City replaced and upgraded our electrical box so we could plug in a generator, and it was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They're up-front, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. They've come back to do minor repairs since then, and I'll be calling them for whatever needs doing at our house going forward.

Electricians arrived at the agreed upon time. He found something in the breaker box that did not meet current code and fixed. Ran new 40 amp service to up stairs without cutting holes in Sheetrock — which was better than expected. They are now our go-to electricians.

From the outset and throughout, great communication from owner Mike Volpe and his team. Mike personally came out late July to go over the job, providing recommendations, and discussing possible future work I wanted. He took his time to answer my questions; no rush in-and-out. And no up-sell pressure - that is a red-flag-no-hire in my book. There were a few back-and-forths when I asked to price hanging ceiling fans and other potential bathroom exhaust fans as a separate job. I received the updated quotes quickly, on-line, and when I elected to go ahead with the work, signed the work order online. Early morning of the work date, I received a "meet the team" email from All City, with the names and pictures of the arriving electricians. Excellent job performed by Joe and Nicholas, They are knowledgeable, personable, observant of social distancing in these times. They took their time and answered all my questions. They did not rush through any of the work, double-checked where I wanted the outlets/keyless lights places, respectfully moved and put back boxes in their path, and then swept up the areas of staples/wire/etc. Excellent to the last detail - Joe suggested a different switch cover and switch for the bathroom due to the new timer switch to tie in the look. He went over how to claim a warranty should the whole-house surge protector get tripped, if necessary. No hidden surprises or up-charges on the final bill. At the end of the job, we discussed future work I want to have done. I definitely would use them again, and will recommend them to my friends.

Orlando did an excellent job. He was very courteous and explained what he needed to do before he proceeded with the work. We had a bee issue in the area that Orlando was working. He needed to spray before he began and had to put up with some bees flying around. With all of this going on, the porch light installation came out great. I would definitely recommend All City Electrical. Very pleased with the work!

Fantastic service. Ram was professional and knowledgable, and managed to get us a replacement part over the holiday weekend. He actually came in on his day off (!) to install it for us, knowing that I was traveling for business at the beginning of the week and needed to do loads of laundry. Could not have been better-Orlando was here on time and worked from the time he arrived till the time he finished-he was neat and made a point of cleaning up after the work was done! he was friendly and polite and took the time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. Mike responded rapidly to our request for work on Angie's list. He came to the house and reviewed the work we wanted done. We had an estimate the next day. Scheduled the work. His crew was here on time and were utterly professional. Work done in the time predicted, and only slightly higher than the estimate because we added a couple minor extra tasks. Can't recommend more highly.

Joe and Orlando did great work. Arrived on time, installed all 3 ceiling fans (& mounting boxes for them...I provided the fans), left no debris behind, and were courteous and professional. . I would definitely use them again.
