LeMus Neves Corp, has been our landscaping company for 23 years on a bi-weekly basis, since 1990. They are not just a landscaping company, the founder and owner Emilio, is an Agronomist Engineer, he has a 4 year bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Agriculture with an additional 3 years technical hands on experience in Agriculture and Agronomy! We never knew this until a few years back!
He has an international degree which includes, plant science, livestock, farming, irrigation, landscape design, pests, agricultural diseases, soils, drainage and other aspects we can't remember. We are mentioning this because we always marveled at his knowledge of plants and animals around our property and how they behave, and why the grass doesn't grow in certain areas, and why we certain bugs, and how he determines if a plant is sick or being eaten, or if we have deer or raccoons or squirrels damaging our stuff. There have been times we asked him to plant something on our property, where he has told us we should not because it is not going to last long under the given natural conditions, or will cause damage to something else, like another plant or our home. Too much shade in one case, next to an aggressive plant in another case, roots may damage our foundation, will attract bees in another, and the soil having to much clay in another. He has explained many things about our property and has saved us so much money in being honest and logical about what we request and what he can do. He makes great alternative recommendations and our property is always in it's best condition. He makes things work.
He has mowed our lawn, trimmed our hedges, planted flowers, planted trees, removed downed trees, transplanted bushes, worked on our irrigation system, fertilized, dressed flower beds, cleaned our gutters, helped solve drainage problems, and always knows what he is doing. He knows the towns restrictions and laws, he is very careful and makes sure he does things right. He is our go to guy for almost anything and if he can't do it or does not have time, we will wait until he can. That's how much we trust him. He has gone above and beyond many times over. If he notices anything that doesn't look right he tell us about it. One time we were talking with him, and we mentioned we were having really bad allergies that year. It was strange because other people we knew did not have such serious allergies. He found it strange and then he surprised us. Can you believe called us a few days later and discovered that our allergies (really bad allergies) were caused because of a tree in our front lawn! He noticed that amount and type of pollen released by that tree was the reason, and we walked under it everyday to and from work. He recommended we not walk under that tree during pollination season. He's a genius! He is a very wise and a giving person, a hard worker and runs a very efficient crew.
We like talking to him when he stops by our property, but we feel bad because we are holding him back from working. He is such a polite and respectful person with a lot of good advice. We are very lucky to have found him as our landscaper, who became a friend, especially knowing he has a degree that makes him so much more valuable than any other landscaper around. We have never had a billing issue, and he never charges too much. About a year ago or more, he put an additional charge on our monthly invoice for gas price increase (explaining the gas price hikes have been costly and beyond his control), to our surprise his note said that if we did not wish to pay this additional charge we did not have to! He wrote this to all his customers, which include seven of our neighbors. This generosity is unheard of now-a-days! He is extremely fair, and when we watch them work, look at the results, know he has a wealth of scholarship information, and is honest and trustworthy, the prices we pay him are cheaper than the dirt we walk on. We enjoy giving him tips, even though he always resists. What can we say? He deserves it.

He was referred by a friend in town. He came, gave estimate. I hired him solely based of the reference and am glad I did. I also double checked him on Angie's list.

He's just a nice gentleman and I can't say enough good things about him. He comes every two weeks, we never feel pressured on the payment, he does a great job on the lawn and he has reasonable rates.
