A-RITEWAY CHIMNEY INC

They were solely hired to fix my chimney. They took advantage of me all the way around. They brought in an air conditioning unit that I told them I didn't want. They opened my roof and said I needed insulation, and threw the insulation out in the middle of my lawn. They pulled tape off my furnace that has caused me health problems. They never returned my calls. They always say that they will give the message to Leo and he never gives me a call. Leo and John push their jobs off on day laborers. They gave me a remote that I didn't know how to use. I told them I didn't want that either and they just pushed it on me. I was trying to get them to come back out to explain how it works to me but they never would. They didn't clean up after themselves. They tracked grease all over my house.They won't even answer the building inspector’s requests on projects. They have been penalized by the town of Moonachie and are going to have to be taken to court.

On August 19th I spoke with James who set up an appointment. They didn?t show up for this appointment or the two additional appointments that were scheduled after. It is now October and nothing has been done. I wouldn?t hire them again.

Called them on Friday to schedule for the following week. They called to let me know they were running a little behind, but when they got here they got the work done. I'm happy with how quickly and smoothly the work went. The finished job looks much better than the previous one from 1992 and they did a nice job of cleaning up before they left.

We will not hire this company again. They clearly try to overcharge customers as much as possible. They don't really care about the quality of the job done.

The man who came out was very pleasant and I hired them to do the work. As soon as I paid them he left and a crew came in to do the work. They were messy and didn't work very diligently. They got cement on our patio and on parts of the front of the house. They eventually cleaned up after themselves but the whole experience was very sloppy. They had to come out a second time to fix the work they did initially. I would not recommend them.

I wish I could say this company did the work I hired them for. I setup an appointment for a week later from 9-11am. The person showed up right at 11 and said it would take longer than was promised so I had to reschedule for later that week. The person never called and never showed up. I called them 2 hours after they said they were supposed to be there and the guy said, "Sorry I forgot to call, we got stuck on another job." I then rescheduled again and called at 3pm to confirm a 5pm appointment. At 6pm, I called to ask where the person was. The head of the company, Mark Loukedis said they were busy with emergencies and said that he would personally come out the next day at 4:30pm. I called at 5pm, and he said that one of his people was supposed to be there. Surprisingly, they never showed up. Not worth the money $$$ !!!
