The preparation involved my providing some of the information. However, she also had to contact our aunt's lawyer and two different bankers as well. Communications via e-mail and phone were very responsive. She was able to explain complicated tax matters in laymen terms.
One of the factors that was very important to us was that the tax preparer was not an individual operating alone. Ms. Mount is the Managing Director & Principal at Mercadien P.C., CPAs. She is backed up by a team of experienced staff.
We were so impressed by her that we chose to have her now do our taxes as well.
