HAMILTON KITCHENS

We had a flood and had to do a complete kitchen remodel, Hamilton did a fantastic job on the cabinets, and we had Mark1 Restoration do our installation work. Mike at Hamilton could not have been nicer, and stayed with us through the entire project, the last picture is our "Before" photo. We went to Hamilton Kitchens because we had used them before, many years ago, and were happy with their work. Their designer is very good, and very helpful. He explained why it would be very costly to make some of the changes we wanted, so we decided against them, but he was able to suggest the addition of a custom bookcase end unit where there was actually a little extra space. They explained up front what the timeframe would be, and were pretty accurate overall. We had to wait for the cabinet to come in, but we knew about that, so that was OK. Once the cabinet came in, they were able to move pretty quickly to install it and the granite counter tops, with the new sink, faucet, and hot water dispenser.
Then we had to wait a little bit for the installation of the tile backspash, which turned into a problem --the tile ordered did not include 2-edged tiles for outside corners. The assumption was that the tiles would be diagonally split, with grout lines diagonally crossing the tile from the top outer to the bottom inner corner. We thought that would look unprofessional and tacky, as did the tile installer. Mike thought it would be fine (I think he wanted to get the job done!). We had to order the 2-edged tiles after the other tiles were installed, which delayed the grouting by 2 weeks. 
Better communication between us, Hamilton Kitchens, and the tile supplier could have prevented this problem, but we were able to work around it and get what we wanted. And other than that, they were a pleasure to work with. Their designer is very good, and the products they use are excellent quality.

Excellent. The quality and speed of the work were outstanding with careful attention to detail. The kitchen designer worked closely with us, keeping those aspects of the kitchen we wanted to retain, and greatly improving the traffic flow.
