Carpet Rescue Plus LLP

When they arrived,, we had a disagreement over the service and price.  They had to call the office to see if what I quoted was correct.  It seemed thereafter that we got the briefest and shoddiest service they could possibly perform.  It seemed that the water they used was dirty.  I'm not sure there was cleaning solution in it.   They missed areas..... I could see by the tracks where they'd run the machine.  It was hit or miss.  I did not expect them to move the sofa or the piano, or dining room table, but easily moveable furniture was not moved.   I continued to clean the carpets myself after they left.... blotting the saturated  carpets with paper towels.  The residual water was filthy.  They were in and out of the house in what seemed minutes.  I'm sure I am exxagerating... it was more than a year ago.   But I was not happy at all.   I sent an immediate review stating my dissatisfaction.  They also cleaned the dryer vent with a vacuum but then did not vacuum up the DIRT left behind when they moved the dryer back.  It seemed that they were told to get in and get out as fast as they could, after driving all the way from NJ for the "special" I'd purchased.
I have not used services on Angies List since, after that bad experience.

A technician came out, and the person was very friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. He checked the dryer and said that I had kept it exceptionally clean, well within the perimeters of the fire safety people who caution about gas dryer fires (he said it more professionally but I don't remember the exact name). He also went outside and checked the vent from the outside to make sure that was clean and clear as well. I would have been 100% happy with this (especially as the price was so reasonable), but the technician did something to the little screen that collects the lint from the dryer that you pull out (don't know the name for that either!), and it hasn't worked right since the visit. I can still pull it out, but something inside catches the lint and it doesn't just come out on the screen like it did prior to their visit. I have to stick my hand in and roll it out or use my vacuum to get it. To be fair to the owners of this business, I did not call them and tell them as I thought something had just bent a little when the technician was cleaning it and that it would eventually work itself out. Then I felt that too much time had passed so I didn't call. If you use them and encounter a problem like I did, call them right away.

The services were exactly what was stated on the offer. They were on time, professional and friendly. Friendly is a plus. So, they have an extra star for that one. The only criticism or feedback that I can give is that they 2 empty bottles in my kitchen floor. They probably forgot to pick it up on their way out and I didn't notice til way after they left.

Went well! all services performed in a timely manner in the way we had agreed it would be done.  I am pleased!

The serviceman offered additonal options and when the services declined, all he could say was well I'll do the best I can but without the additonal services don't expect much.

Crew was very professional.    I am satisfied with the work they have done.

I used this when I moved out of my old apartment.  They did a really good job.  The price was great and they worked very efficiently.  I would recommend them.

Not quite as clean as I hoped..would cost extra for darker areas.

They did a much better job cleaning and making the carpets look better than other carpet cleaners we've used in the past.  Will definitely use their services again.

I was a little upset that the carpets did not get cleaned as well as I thought they would said there was a soap build up however i had not shampoo the carpet in a while for there to be a soap build up as he had stated

They were punctual and fast, and did a great job!
