 + -1 moreJob was done well. Company was punctual at the promised date and time. The crew was polite and professional. For now, the work quality met expectations. We'll see how the driveway looks in the spring.
Description of Work: Seal 50', two-car, sloping driveway. Driveway had areas with cracks in the asphalt top, and near the seam with the sidewalk. The company was requested to mix sand with the sealer to create a friction surface for the winter.

Description of Work: Overall I would recommend Budget Sealers. They did a great job seal coating (using coal tar) and filling cracks/potholes in my long driveway. It took a couple of calls to their company voicemail before they came to give a quote. Once I approved the quote they performed the work within the next week. They were not the most or least expensive of the quotes I received, but since they are also a driveway paving company I felt they would be best when it came to large crack and pothole filing.

Description of Work: I would not have graded this provider overall as no work was done, but was not able to submit this report unless one was given. Provider came to my attention when they did excellent work at a neighbor. They gave a reasonable quote at that time. I later contacted them, discussed details of the job, and thought I had arranged for their work to start about 4 weeks in future. When they had not contacted me for confirmation of start date about that time, I left several messages, both voicemail and with office staff, but none were returned. After several weeks passed with no return response, either written or messages, I arranged for the work to be done with another provider. I think this communication failure was not for lack of contact information, since the provider had listed my address and phone on the quote.

It was a little slow getting the quote but in hindsight it's because Glenn is present at each of his jobs and not sitting in front of a computer all day. It was worth the wait. I would highly recommend Budget!

Description of Work: My driveway is very long and a larger area up at the top. Scheduled the work at a time when i was traveling and didn't need to use it for a couple days. Team came out as requested, and did an excellent job. no spills or marks on anything outside of the driveway and from what I can tell it was a thick consistent coat.

 + -1 moreThey were very prompt in responding to my request to get an estimate. I left a message with my name and address and a couple days later I came home from work and they had left the estimate. I contacted them that night to request an appointment for service and they were able to come the next day. The job took only about 30 minutes. I had a couple concerns. I emailed Glenn from Budget Sealers the next morning to address my concerns. There were some small tuffs of grass growing out of the larger cracks and they didn't remove them prior to filling the cracks and sealing the driveway, so the surface of my driveway has tar covered grass coming out of it. The brochure says they will prep the driveway prior by cleaning and removing weeds. I thought this would be part of the preparations. He said someone would come look at it and they would touch up the area, but it has been nearly two weeks and I have not heard from him again. I wanted to give him the opportunity to make the situation right before I posted on Angies List. Also, a couple days later I had an estimate in my driveway from another company and it was $20 less. I would not use Budget Sealers Inc. next year.
Description of Work: We had some larger cracks filled and the whole two car driveway sealcoated.

 + -1 moreOur Driveway was looking very weathered. With some seal coating it looks like new. We also have belgium blocking up the sides of the driveway and they are careful not to get any sealant on them. We have been using budget for over 10 years! Better than Collegiate Sealers.

Description of Work: We have a fairly large driveway, and we decided to have it redone. Budget came, removed the asphalt and stones, and took the time to decide how best to do it. The paving was beautifully done. We mainly dealt with Glenn Layendecker, and throughout the whole process, he was very professional, friendly and patient, and always tried to come up with the solutions.
