Hired Borges Electric to install a bathroom fan vent. They didn't vent the fan through the roof or through the soffit. They just buried exhaust line in my insulation. This caused mold buildup and eventually destroyed the fan. A real hack job.

Everything was fixed and I got information that will be helpful in the future.

Best contractor ever! We needed electrical work (wiring and outdoor panel) for our new hot tub, and Alex and his team were responsive, knowledgeable, punctual, accommodating, and efficient. We've had to deal with many contractors, and Alex, by far, was the easiest to communicate and do business with. He provided a reasonable quote and answered all of our questions. Alex did a great job explaining the issue to my Mother. Her English is not so good, so he took the time to explain the issue. He went to the store and purchased a new light fixture and installed it. He was great and the price was excellent. I would definitely use him again.

Bottom line: great work, shortest lead time possible, lowest price, nice guy to work with We had multiple companies come out to give us quotes on do the electrical work in our kitchen. We started with a company out of Princeton, recommended by a friend, and were shocked by the price. We called another company out of Princeton who was even higher. Still searching, we tried an old local company near us. They were still out of the range we were looking to spend, but we were starting to get used to the idea that we might need to spend the kind of money these people were asking for. We decided call in an electrician from Pennsylvania, figuring they might be cheaper. They were higher still. We were going to give up, but somehow my wife found Alex at Borges Electric. He came over, gave me the lowest quote (by far) had an opening early the week (!!!) and gave me the sense that the job would be done right. I hired him and the work was done well and when promised. He was accommodating, not overcharging for some additional work, but was very reasonable in working with me when some aspects of the job were simpler than expected and some were more involved. I get the sense that many of the other companies would have taken a hard line on some issues and charged significantly more. I think Alex’s company will grow quite a bit over the coming years. Get him while you can!

Borges Electric did all of my electric work from the interior to exterior- as well as offered new ideas and solutions . He was on time, offered competitive prices, and was very respectful of my time frame and budget as well. Tasks performed- exterior path lighting, exterior outlets, exterior sconce and pole lighting, exterior sensor light, interior high hats in every room, fan with lights, bathroom fan, getting all of my outlets up to code , outlet dimmer switches, kitchen and dining room pendulum lighting and basic switches and outlets . Mr Borges was able to meet the challenge and he replaced the wires and other faulty electrical conditions. The electrical inspector from our town knew that Mr Borges was a very good inspector and trusted him.

Fantastic! Alex Borges (Borges Electric) was punctual, professional and did quality work at a great price. He purchased the outlets from Home Depot, and without even being prompted by us, actually showed us the receipt and charged us the face value of the parts. Not an experience I've often had with some service providers, who can upcharge. He also offered an estimate for the job, not by the hour, which gave us peace of mind. We will definitely be using him again as our go-to electrician.

Alex headed up all the electrical for our basement finishing and then some ceiling fans in our kids' bedrooms. Excellent work, cleaned up, and we felt comfortable having him in our home when we were away. Pricing seemed very fair. No surprise costs added on even though he had to put in a few extra hours and get some extra pieces. The inspector asked who did the work and said that it all looked very good. We highly recommend and will certainly be turning to him first in the future.
