Good service over phone, prompt visit and quote provided. Job was done on scheduled day, part was not completed as expected so owner came out, confirmed that they would complete it and it was finished in a day or two. I would recommend using this company.

I tried to get maybe half a dozen different firms to come and do the job. Some were not returning my calls, others promised to call back and never did. With Bates, scheduling, rescheduling, and other such dealings were punctual, courteous, world class. I strongly recommend them.

He was very good, he was wonderful. I highly recommend him. He responded when I called and he came when he was supposed to and he seemed very knowledgeable. I thought he was very reasonably priced. He left the place very clean. I found him on Angie's List.

This has happened to me too many times in the past, wasting my time by waiting and having to start all over looking for another contractor. I urge contractors to tell a customer right up front if they do not want the job...that we can respect!

I called and scheduled an appointment. He called back and had to reschedule due to health concerns. He arrived on time and answered my questions and replaced the insides of the toilet. It no longer leaks and I was extremely satisfied with the job he performed. We discussed future projects that I will engage his company to perform.

Gutters were repaired, saving me replacing them. The old mulch was removed, the beds cleaned up and new mulch put down. The type of bulb and the type of caulk requested was used. The rest is rather straightforward. I didn't have to repeat myself - everything was quoted and completed as requested.



The quote was a well-prepared spreadsheet with each task being detailed by materials, labor and taxes as a line item. In this way, if you don't want to proceed with an item until later, you still know where you are. Estimates are free.

I called them, I was told they would call me back. They never called back.

Used this company previously to fix issues at my parents home prior to selling and was pleased with their diversity of jobs and overall work.
Had several things we wanted to fix up. Mr. Bates came to look and sent us an estimate. I think his work is priced very reasonably.
Mr. Bates removed the damaged window sill, made a new one, installed it, and stained it to match the frame. It looks great! He did a very thorough powerwashing of house and deck, and even powerwashed the cement birdbath as he went by. It took a little while to get the deck sealed because of the weather but he kept in touch about when he would try and come.
Mr. Bates is professional and does wonderful work. He even put up with our animals while working. Cleans up after he is done.

Completely satisfactory. He was able to do everything I asked at a reasonable price and just as I expected.
