I think John was pretty busy, as it was hard to get a date set up. I asked him for a few days notice, but he called me at about 2 PM to tell me that he'd be over the next morning. Since I had to clear the room, countersink the nails, and finish filling in a crack in the floor, I had to get busy! As I mentioned before, he forgot his filler, so the repaired section is way lighter in color than the rest of the floor. He said it looked "rustic". He also said that my upstairs was "like an attic". I'll find out what charm school he attended, so that you don't send your children there. I used his services once before, and his two sons did that work. I think the younger generation did a slightly better job. Little details, like not completely reassembling my circuit breaker box, left me feeling somewhat dissatisfied. The floors do look good, though, light patch work non-withstanding. I'm not sure if I'd use them again. No big complaints, I'd just like to see what other options I may have.
