On 1/5/16, my Attic stairs collapsed when pulled open. I went to Home Depot to search for repair parts. I was told it needed to be replaced (that is what I expected.....its thirty years old......and the bracket on the left side completely fell apart. Home Depot referred me to three contractors. I chose TJR Associates.
I received a call from Tim Ryan on 1/5/16 about 5PM. I described the problem. He asked for measurements and quoted me a price and we scheduled an appointment for 1/6/16.
Tim Ryan arrived on time (as promised) on 1/6/16 @ 9:30AM. He surveyed the work to be done, took measurements to make sure the ones I gave him over the phone were correct. He then proceeded to put down drop clothes to protect my floors. They were very careful to protect my walls as well. The old Attic stairs were removed with care and the new one was installed. Tim demonstrated the new stairs to me and everything works great!
I am very pleased with the work and his professionalism and cleanliness. I checked the price of the replacement stairs and labor cost on the Internet. The stairs were exact, however, his labor cost was on the high end,, but worth the money.
