They lied to to increase their price. They told me they had to check the wires and the job took longer than expected. They pretended to work on my car while it just sat- as I was waiting- to raise the price. I watched this happen. They do dirty business and with poor workmanship to boot.
I was told by the Intoxalock customer service that what I was getting done cost $15 and Pro-tronix charged me $45. When I asked why they were charging me that much I was told because they had to check the wires. This was not true. They didn't even open the hood. Plus, customer service, again, told me this is not the proper practice. When I handed the guy a $50 bill he asked me if the $5 tip was for him even after I knew he ripped me off. Very unprofessional.
I switched to a new installation service center where I was charged properly and in-and-out in less than 10 minutes. I explained my experience with Pro-tronix and they were appalled as well.
