+ -1 moreDue to the distance, we delivered the tables to Toms River from NNJ. John removed the old finish, sanded the battered edges and added filler where needed. He also realigned the doors so they no longer scratch against the finish. He then refinished the tops and the scratched areas to match the rest of the pieces in the set. He also provided glass tops to protect them in the future. They look brand new and much better than the rest of the pieces which have been dinged and scratched over the last 55 years. The set belonged to my grandparents and is very well made. It has been moved several times and has its share of nicks and scratches. The other pieces are too large to transport to Toms River but since I plan to move to that area in a few years I will have them redone as well.
Description of Work: John refinished the tops and insides of two Thomasville nightstands that belonged to my grandparents. Both were scratched and had water marks on the top and one was scratched from an uneven door scraping the wood.
