this window was for my elderly mother who lives in a retirement community. Right from the start Bob & his asst. Courtney were friendly yet very professional. They explained their product & the options avail. to her & how the installation process would go very clearly. The answered all our questions & did not hurry my mother into making a decision right away .

The window was installed a few weeks earlier than they had promised & the installation crew were very professional . The whole job took less than 1/2 day, they cleaned up after the job & when my mother called them back the next day for something she found that still needed to be done ( small area under the outside of the window that needed insulation) they came back the next day & took care of the problem.

Would highly recommend them . The window is of very good quality & beautiful ( made in the U.S.) even though it was a bit pricey.

We met Bob at a local home show, he followed up with us, made an appt. to come to our home. He showed us different styles, explained features, benefits and warranties of several styles. He shows you what it would look like on his computer which was very beneficial. We went to the showroom to finalize the selection. The door arrived as promised and was quickly scheduled for installation. The installer and his helper were both very professional and courteous. The quality of the installation was tremendous, they cleaned up as they went along. He was very meticulous, very professional in every aspect of the install. We paid more for the door than we originally planned, but, we are completely satisfied with the results. The look, quality and installation made it well worth the investment. We will use them again.

The installers were on time everyday, worked without lunch, went over and about with the installation. Even repaired a door for free. The installers were craftsmen.

The installation went smoothly. The installer had a new helper, it was the helper's first day on the job, but he was willing to work and to learn about the installation of the two different types of awnings. The stationary awning was installed first and it went up very quickly. Then the retractable awning was installed without a problem. The installer and the helper both had a wonderful sense of humor which made the time of installation go very quickly. They also didn't mind that my parents and I watched them install both awnings from start to finish. They cleaned up every little scrap of debris and left the area as clean as they found it.

I had contemplated long and hard and shopped around a number of dealers before I finally chose TomsRiverDoorANdWindow to do my retractable awning installation. I did my homework first, and chose an Eclipse Awning, over all the competitors. Eclipse is what my sister has, and after looking at Durasol, and Sunsetter, we realized Eclipse had the best Quality for the price. The people at Toms River were very professional. THey showed me virtually what my house would look like once the awning was installed, I got to choose form hundreds of fabrics, and the installation was done quickly, efficiently, and they left no mess behind. They hooked it all up and it works and looks outstanding. I cant wait till spring to use it!I would recommend them to anyone. They worked with me on price and on determining the best size. Very knowledgable.

Everyone was completely professional and enjoyable to work with.  We had a problem with closing one window and they quickly came back and fixed the problem to our satisfaction.  They are very considerate and neat.  I have no hesitancy in recommending them.  Not the least expensive, but I believe the best.

The installer arrived 1 hr prior to the appointment time.  He was professional, neat and did an excellent job.  I am very satisfied.

The job didn't turn out so well. They were overpriced, for one. They didn't order a garage window when they were putting in the windows. They were putting them in way too quickly because I had leaks afterwards. I had to call another company in to fix that. Another window didn't have the lock on straight. I wouldn't have them again. I think they should take their time putting in windows. I don't think the windows should have cost as much as they did. They were here when they promised they would be here.

We had researched enclosing our front porch for some time and saw a product that caught our eye. We wanted a screened in porch but also wanted to be able to close windows if the weather got bad. We searched for a local distributor and found Tom's River Door and Window. We called and spoke with Gene who set up an appointment to come to our home. From that time forward we had nothing but the best to say about him and the company. We set up mutual meet times and made arrangements to have the product installed. The installer was very professional and meticulous. Needless to say, we are thrilled. We are sitting on our beautiful (enclosed) front porch as we type this review. We are looking forward to giving it a test run this coming winter.
In summary, this company returns phone calls, shows up when they say they will and follows up to make sure the customer is totally satisfied. A+++ in our book.

This is third time I have used Toms River Door and Window. Again they did a great jobs, door looks great and functions well. Very pleased.

We ordered our Retractable Awning on May 13, 2011 and it was delivered and installed on June 1, 2011. The installation appointment was between 8:30am and 9:30am. The 2 men arrived at 9am and started right to work. Having a habit of getting into the mix, I stayed back and watched and the installers kept me informed of what and why they were doing certain procedures. They were informative, and while I was concerned after being burned on other occasions, I could see they knew what they were doing and I had no need to worry.

They had all the know how necessary to hang a large awning on a shingled home. 1. When I questioned the position of the braces citing symmetry they showed me where the braces need to go in order to get the most strength and support. After thinking it through I knew they were absolutely right. 2. When I questioned the sturdy wood brace they put up to hold the brackets I was afraid they would show and be unsightly. I waited. They showed me the matching awning encasement which protects the awning when not in use. And, the matching wood cover that would be installed over the wood which would match completely. It was perfect and invisible. 3. After installation they aligned the awning perfectly with the house. 4. They showed me how to operate the awning safely. How to take care of it. What kind of weather might damage it if left unattended. Also, they had suggestions and facts I needed to know in operating the awning.

The installers couldn't have been nicer. The whole experience of the purchase and installation was very positive. In this day and age, that's saying something.

I will be going back to get awnings for my windows also.
