We contacted this company to discuss plans for a rebuilding our shore home after Superstorm Sandy. In order for plans to begin, a deposit of $3,000 was submitted in April 2013. We were told at the time that we could sit with the sales person as many times as necessary to devise a desired plan. He submitted two preliminary plans for pricing. The sales person never got back to us in a timely manner. We would have to contact them 4-5 times before they responded. We met with the sales person in July and was told after 2 weeks we would receive pricing on the second preliminary home. After 5 weeks and many attempts to contact the sales person, we still did not receive the pricing. Finally after calling and telling the sales person and the owner that we were going with another builder, the sales person insisted on giving us a price even though we told them we already signed the contract with the new builder. The owner contacted us to tell us that the plan was devised and in the mail. We have yet to receive this supposed plan 2 weeks later. We called to ask for our deposit to be refunded since no work has been done, and we were only refunded $250 on a $3,000 deposit. The sales person said it was due to the 2 preliminary plans and all the visits that we made to the office, even though we were told to come as many times as we want. The preliminary plans did not include any plumbing, electrical, pilings, roof frame, or elevation plans. It was just a plan of exterior and interior rooms. Although the sales person and other employees were nice on the phone, they never got back to us in a timely manner. The way they handle business, although friendly, is unprofessional. They take advantage of hard working people who have been put in a terrible situation due to a storm. I would not recommend working with this company.
